Chris was able to get our 1yr new home warranty inspection scheduled and completed within two weeks from first contact and before the Thanksgiving holiday. He took his time and was meticulously thorough with the inspection. He was able to locate and make us aware of some considerable issues that were not found by previous inspectors during the build. If we could turn back the clock, we would've hired him in the beginning. We like to support local and small businesses whenever we can and we believe Chris serves as a perfect example as to why.

Chris from this company did home inspection for me and he is great person as a human being first Regarding the work, he did great job. He is best on communication, inspections and recommendations, plus his personal opinions on certain matters helped me a lot! Use of thermal camera and pointing out invisible defects on house has impressed me a lot! Already booked him for another inspection that will happen 11 months from now as builder's warranty expires after 365 days! I highly recommend him for this job including radon testing

Would recommend Chris to anyone looking for home inspections! From the initial conversations, Chris has been respectful and very responsive. He has answered every question I’ve asked. He was in contact with our builder to set up a good time to complete the inspection. On the day of the inspection, he was very thorough, checking every aspect of our new build. When he was finished, he waited for my husband to get home to be over to go over his inspection and findings in person. The report we received was well put together, easy to read, and easy to identify the problems that needed to be addressed. He will be completing 2 additional inspections on my new construction home in the future.

Hands down the best inspector you will ever find! I would gladly reach out to Canopy Home Inspections in the future, if I ever needed to. Chris went above and beyond with the inspection of our potential new home, documenting everything from a single loose shingle to bigger issues like excessive humidity in the crawlspace. Not only did he document everything with photos and notes that we can easily reference in the software he uses, but he also went through a full walk through outside the home pointing out the issues in-person and did a deeper dive through the notes for issues found inside. He patiently, professionally, and knowledgeably answered all our questions and gave us all the tools and information we needed to make decisions on the home during our due diligence period. Even well after our inspection, when we had additional concerns he was super responsive to our texts/calls, making sure we understood certain supplemental reports and super helpful by providing us a list of engineers and contractors he trusts. All in all, exceptional service and a great guy to work with!
