Simon inspected my home in which he gave me the green light to purchase. As first time buyer, I trusted his professionalism. He mentioned minimal things need to be updated to the house but nothing major. For instance, 1. Simon stated that two- three shingles were missing which I was okay to fix that, some updating in the kitchen which I was also okay to fix that. When I purchased my home, I wanted to fix the missing shingles. I called different roofing companies, each one mentioned I had to replace the entire roof because it didn’t have plywood. That cost me over 20k. 2. Simon never mentioned that the house caught fire once upon a time and 3. The foundation is a bad shape that I’m in the process of fixing it too. 4. The house had inactive termites before which Simon informed of it but he said I was safe to purchase the home. My only advice to first time buyers is to hire two- three different home inspectors. I know it cost money but it’s better spend it on inspectors to make sure the home you want to purchase is in a great condition.

I was satisfied with the service offered. Simon was very helpful throughout the inspection and answered all my questions. Even those about repair costs and the reason for certain property damages. He was professional and punctual which I appreciated. He was also quite patient since he waited an hour for longer stairs to be brought to access the roof since the property didn't have access from the inside. He made himself available for any further questions after the inspection which was very helpful. And the format of the report was easy to follow. I highly reccomend him to anyone looking for an inspector.

Simon is very diligent and professional with his services. Expect his work to be accurate and thorough. He actually recognized a water heater issue and said it was going to need a replacement this year and literally the water heater broke weeks later. Luckily for the seller to replace on their dime. He also is very responsive and if you need him for a quick inspection, he may be able to to book it if available last minute. Definitely worth picking him!
