Adams Home Inspection, Inc

I do not recommend this home inspection company. We moved into our new house only about two weeks after the inspection, and we immediately discovered major plumbing problems that the inspector missed. We tried contacting them many times for help, and after several calls and emails, we ended up having to spend $2,900 out of pocket to fix the plumbing issues. Their response was basically, "If you are not happy with your inspection, I will offer you a refund. We do our best but cannot find every problem." For the price we paid, I expected a much more thorough inspection. Even though they eventually gave me only a partial refund, it did not come close to covering the repairs we had to make. This experience was extremely frustrating, and based on what we went through, I would not recommend this company to anyone

Sugar coated inspection. Found so many things totally missed after closing the house. Including shower pan leak!! 6 in joice in a 8 in hanger! Laundry outlet didn’t work wasn’t even hooked up. Roof was said to be great condition it’s got a ton of hail damage. I would not recommend Adam’s. Sorry.

Several of my family members have used Adams Home Inspections in the past so I knew of their good reputation. I am so glad we were able to utilize their services! I arrived at the inspection 10 minutes early and they had already arrived and were walking the exterior of the home. They introduced themselves and offered to answer any questions. Throughout the entire experience I felt they were very thorough. At the end they answered questions of items we had noticed, explained each item that would be on their report, and even took the time to explain to us how to use the humidifier system which we have not had experience with before. I would recommend their services.

There are many options out there for companies to use for home inspections. As a Realtor I have recommended this company several times to multiple buyers. My clients as well as myself have been impressed each time. From their admin to their inspectors, their level of professionalism, promptness, and vast array of knowledge have surpassed expectations. I especially love how Randy walks my 1st time home buyers through their inspections and explains in detail what he sees and why it may or may not be a concern. He even pops them a bag of popcorn to insure their microwave works. 🙂 This company has referred to my clients and I other professionals when needed who have all been wonderful people to work with as well. Stacy makes it incredibly easy to schedule inspections and is very easy to communicate with. I will continue to recommend Adams Home Inspections to everyone I know as I can trust they will take care of my clients. ***I do not receive any sort of compensation for referring clients to this or any other company, this review just reflects my personal opinion***

The only reason I am giving two stars is for the work that was done. It was satisfactory. That is all the good I will say about this company. A few years after having my inspection done, my insurance company reached out looking for information only found on my inspection. I reached out over a week ago via email, no response. I called last Friday, found out Stacy, the lady I emailed still worked there, just didn't feel the need to respond. Then was told my inspection would be found and sent to me. This week, I emailed, and again, no response. I called back today and the person who answered said Stacy had just stepped out, but would get back to me. This was 4 hours ago and still haven't received a call or email. As a professional, this is bad business.

I am a local realtor and have referred Randy and Andrew for over 16 years to all my clients as a trusted inspector. They perform whole home inspections, termite inspections and do radon testing. They always take their time and do a thorough inspection. They are always punctual and provide thorough reports quickly following inspections. Thank you, Randy and Andrew for all you do for my buyers!

I’ve used AHI twice. Both times Randy and Andrew found things that I brought to the seller in negotiations that helped me in the home buying process saving me a ton of money. Stacy makes appointment setting a breeze. Highly recommend!
