Mountains to Sound Home Inspection

Writing this is years long overdue. Brandon is terrible at his job. First off, he was sexist and assumed my boyfriend at the time was who he was to discuss things with, when I was the clearly the homeowner paying him. He was obviously uncomfortable with that and didn't shake my hand. The basement of the home I bought and he "inspected" was absolutely horribly "refinished" just for show to appear inhabitable as a furnished space, as sleazy investors often do to drive up the cost/selling point. As soon as rainy season came the whole basement was damaged from rain and he absolutely should have seen that as inevitable. There were drain indentations molded into the concrete under the shoddy carpeting indicating this was 100% status quo. Many of my things were damaged and it caused a huge inconvenience and bunch of stress just a few months after moving into my new house. Upon selling the home over a year later I was made to install a new roof for $7000 as their inspector and my realtor agreed and insisted upon. He should have seen it wasn't in good shape. There are TONS of other home inspectors in the Tacoma area. Do not give Brandon your business. Shame on him.

I used Mountains to Sound for my first home purchase in December 2024 (inspection was done in November). I thought everything was all good at first. The inspector was friendly and explained the process thoroughly to me. Fast forward to today, 6 months in my new home and I have had to repair multiple things that were missed during the inspection. Super disappointing.
