HDMK Inspection Services - NOLA

I’ve used HDMK when I was a realtor in Baton Rouge and they were so great and thorough so of course when I found out they’re in New Orleans I used them when buying my first home! They were phenomenal in New Orleans as well. Greg our inspector was so detailed oriented, answered every question I had and put me at ease. He even found things that three inspectors before him did not. I am very grateful to Greg and the whole HDMK team. Felix did my pipe inspection and was so friendly and helpful as well!!

I recently hired HDMK Gregory for a full home inspection on a property we’re purchasing, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. The inspector arrived on time, was well-prepared, and spent several hours meticulously checking every aspect of the house — from the roof and attic insulation down to the foundation and crawl space. They used professional tools such as a moisture meter, thermal imaging camera, and voltage tester to detect issues that wouldn’t be visible to the naked eye. I especially appreciated how they distinguished between minor maintenance issues and potential safety concerns. The final report was delivered the same day — a detailed digital report complete with high-resolution photos, clear descriptions, and prioritized repair recommendations. This made it much easier to negotiate repairs with the seller and plan for future maintenance.

We recently had a home inspection done and was very pleased with the experience. The inspector was professional and extremely thorough. They took the time to walk us through everything they found, explained the details in a way we could understand, and answered all of our questions patiently. The report was delivered promptly and was very detailed - complete with photos, recommendations, and a helpful summary that made it easy to review. It gave us peace of mind knowing what minor issues needed to be addressed before closing.

Had a condo inspected. The report was detailed and complete. And it demonstrated a complete Mastery of all the things necessary to make a final decision on a condo. Gregory and Felix were great! Not only did they find some hidden issues during the inspection they went above and beyond while explaining what they found.

A new inspector at HDMK reached out to me offering a complimentary inspection for my real estate clients because he was a new inspector and I’m assuming needed to have a few inspections under his belt. He and another gentleman showed up (one to do the inspection and the other to provide me with a WDIR). There was something that went wrong during the inspection. In an effort to have that problem resolved I spoke with management and unfortunately with no resolve. I’ve called the office twice since then and no one will return my call. I have photos of them at the property performing the inspections. Despite not arriving at a resolution regarding the problem that occurred, my client still doesn’t have either report they showed up to provide her with. Sheer unprofessionalism and disregard. I’m a top producing LA real estate agent who was trying to give someone a chance. I’m still planning to follow up in writing with supporting documentation to management and photos after I get this deal to the closing table.

Drew was fantastic. Very polite, very thorough, and helped us figure out what needed to be repaired and updated in my great grandmother’s house to make sure it continues to last and avoid more costly repairs in the future. He also went over some issues we hadn’t been at all aware of and let us know which ones appeared strictly cosmetic so we could focus on the more pressing things. Would recommend 100% to anyone needing a house inspection.
