Early on in my home-buying process, my realtor recommended Scott at Carolina Home Pro Inspections for my home inspection, citing his keen attention to detail. On her recommendation, I decided to go with them when the time came. Our inspection fell around the Thanksgiving holiday, and Scott went above and beyond to ensure that he fit my inspection into his schedule. On the day of the inspection, they were prompt, and I was able to attend the last 30 minutes of the inspection to review the findings. Scott's son reviewed everything inside the home with me. He showed me detailed photographs annotated with red arrows and explained in detail what each line item was and how it was to be remedied. Scott gave me an in-depth explanation of the findings on the outside of the home, the code and how each item was to be rectified, along with the annotated photos for reference. They went above and beyond the call of duty when they walked me through the house and showed me key home features that they felt I should be familiar with as the homeowner. Best of all, this thorough review was completed thoroughly and efficiently in just over 30 minutes, and the final report was sent within a few hours for forwarding to my builder. Overall, I had an outstanding experience with this company. I highly recommend them for your home inspection needs or to get a second look at anything concerning your home. Their knowledge base, attention to detail and ability to educate and empower the homeowner are unparalleled.

Scott and his son are pure professionals. They do a thorough job, but, more importantly, they go through each finding and explain why something is important, or something they think it would be worth keeping an eye on. It is my intention to use them every few years to point out where new problems might be arising that need to be addressed before they lead to something more serious.
