Blake is a consummate professional. Blake listened well, gave a thorough inspection of our concerns, took multiple measurements of our home and explained the implications of those measurements. He gave some excellent observations of simple methods to mitigate a few concerns. We are extremely pleased to have had his evaluation prior to consulting with any foundation companies. Blake is the consummate professional. He was quick to communicate to set up an inspection, was upfront with cost and what to expect. He stayed in touch to confirm inspection date and time and to let me know he was on his way the day of. He was thorough and offered solutions to what turned out to be a relatively minor problem and suggestions for preventative measures. I chose to have him come so an inspection because I wanted an engineer’s independent assessment. It was 100% the right decision for me. I highly recommend Blake if you have any concerns about your foundation/water intrusion.

Such a good experience with Blake! After several rounds of foundation fixes, we found a new crack and decided to find a structural engineer to give us unbiased advice before talking to another foundation company. Blake explained what was happening and explained why it was not as big of an issue as we had feared. He provided a plan of action, if we decided to remedy the issue, and told us what to look for in the future. We are very happy to have found Blake and trust his expertise.

Blake was prompt, professional, and personable. I was nervous to call an engineer to look at my very old home that has gone through long periods of disrepair in its history — he was completely non-judgmental and offered realistic, practical, and manageable solutions to remediating some of my issues. I sent a text recommending him to some friends within a few minutes of him walking out the door! If I ever have a need for a structural engineer again, I will call him.

Getting our foundation inspected by Resolve was a great experience. We are in an older home with a variety of foundation issues and oddities, and Blake seemed very knowledgeable and thorough with the inspection. He clearly communicated what issues were actionable, what to keep an eye on, and what was not an issue, which gave us a lot of clarity and peace of mind. We were also very impressed with how quickly Blake worked us into his schedule and his willingness to answer all of our post-inspection questions.
