Boyd Home Inspection is hands-down the best inspection experience I’ve had in Chattanooga. From the moment they showed up, it was obvious these guys take their work seriously. They were early, professional, and incredibly thorough — not the "quick walk-through" you get with most inspectors. They caught things that every other inspector completely missed: small moisture issues behind trim, an HVAC component that wasn’t cycling properly, and even a minor foundation shift that could’ve become a huge problem down the road. The level of detail was wild. They walked me through every single finding in plain English, showed photos, and even gave me practical solutions instead of just listing problems. What really stood out was their honesty. They don’t try to scare you or dramatize anything — they just tell you exactly what’s going on and how to fix it. Very detailed inspection at a good price. He saved us tons of money finding issues that needed to be addressed before closing. He even found a dangerous leak from our gas heater that wasn't hooked up properly, literally life saving.

Boyd home inspection company they were very professional and was very knowledgeable. About the systems and components of electrical , and plumbing and structural components. He made sure I understood what he was talking. Inspector was using thermal cameras and electrical meters and water pressure tester and other various tools. Very satisfied with using this company I recommend them to search your home

Great home inspector. But DO NOT use the companies Boyd Home Inspection Company refers for repairs. They are his friends and do horrible work. Bad people that make their money by taking advantage of good honest people. We are very real people and customers that deserve the right to privacy. It seems this business can't accept the work of his referrals. The response shows all you should know about the accountability of these people.

Boyd was efficient, clear, and precise. He completed a review quickly and sent an organized and concise report the same day. We would definitely recommend him to other folks!
