As a first time home buyer, an inspection can be daunting… but my experience was the exact opposite! Nick and Brandon did my inspection. I had this company do a home inspection on 2126 Overlea Avenue. The report regarding the roof stated: "4.3.2 Due to the height of the exterior structure the roof was not accessible. Recommend inspection by a qualified roofing contractor to evaluate condition and make repairs as needed." When I called and asked about the situation, the home inspector told me that he didn't have a drone to do the inspection. I had a mold inspection done on another property Tuesday, Nov 18. It is Saturday, Nov22 and I still don't have the report. I'm suppose to close in 3 days. Bottom line, I will not use this company in the near future.

Kurt was great! He let me follow him around the house the entire time. He understood my level of home repair knowledge, and noted what I might be able to fix myself and what would be best to have repaired. I really appreciate how detailed summary of the issues with the house.

Disappointed in this business. Friends and family recommended them for our new home purchase and were excited at first. Sorry to be wrong. Paid $500 extra for a sewer lateral, ac unit inspection, and termite inspection. Total $1000 Sewer lateral: inspector scoped from the vent from the roof…ok. States in report he can’t verify the connection to septic. And then states he recommends paying for a second scoping from the basement…but doesn’t go and do that while there? AC unit inspection: declined to even attempt to inspect because of a weed blocking partial access? Termite inspection: inspector gave a clean bill of health on the home. No termites. Nothing. First day of possession today….i found with the naked eye a completely rotten through crumbling termite riddled structural sill plate in the basement while installing a new electric line….why did I pay the Chad Borah team? I reached out last week to their team about the sewer lateral and ac unit inspections issues before we closed and before I even knew there were termites. The manager was out for the day and I was assured I would be contacted Monday before closing. I did not hear from anyone Monday. The home inspection otherwise was satisfactory and so we proceeded with closing. Fast forward, no one reached out to us this whole week and then to find This termite structural issue… absolutely pisses me off even more than the first two issues. Even looking at the termite report they even put the wrong address on it! Did they even go to our home? I feel wronged immeasurably. Disappointing. One would expect if you pay $1000 total for an inspector you would get an inspection…..and then no one seems to care.
