Not so much as to what this office does, the problem is SOME who work have an entitlement that they abuse. Take this St. Paul City Inspector who decides since HE can, HE daily parks in a Loading zone outside of 375 Jackson, causing actual drop-offs to be dangerous. Why can he not pay for parking 1/2 block away or get to work early to find an ACTUAL parking space to use? This employee is severely lacking professionalism due to an overwhelming feeling of entitlement, "Just cause he can and does". That's abuse of the office power. Not like he is visiting a building to inspect, this is the building he works in.
If you need anything and your time window is expiring, go here and asked for SAREEN! She is just wonderful!…very knowledgeable and very personable. She fulfilled my Permit Request, company Trade License printout request, and even my personal Master Comp Card printout request on the spot! I wish I could have her on my team…she is that good! 10 stars if I could. Thank you, Sareen!
Pulled my permit in person today with no appointment. Took 30mins. Thanks for keeping it simple St Paul Building officials. Plus parked for free on site. Building looks like a bank, but I found it easy to navigate with the blue signs pointing to Safety and Inspections.
Steve came out to inspect for certain things today, he was absolutely the sweetest person! I'm going through a tough time in life currently and he literally made my day with his great customer service! Thank You!
