After more than a year of service, we have cancelled our agreement. The service techs in the Olathe, KS area would come out and take care of the visible needs, but not the major needs. They laid out several bait traps around our home. Despite the bait traps, we continued to catch mice in the home. My husband was able to acquired a key to the traps unbeknownst to the company and found that the bait stations had not been baited for awhile, there were only a few pieces left behind. He called the and they returned. This is after other issues throughout the year such as not working the parameter based on our camera recordings. The next service, my husband checked the bait boxes again. Not only was there just a few remnants of bait in there, a giant, yes giant, rat had made the station into their nest. It had had one litter which the residue of the poison had killed, but there was also a living 2nd litter in the box filled with leaves and grass to make a nest. At that point we were done giving the company chances to improve. I do not recommend the Olathe office nor the national based on how they have handled the entire situation.

I called CJ regarding that days scheduled appointment for a home visit. I called because we had a couple of inches of fresh snow and wasn’t sure if I would have the appointment. He checked the appointment schedule and told me that I did. He also took my information as far as things that I wanted the examiner to look for. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the services that were to be rendered. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for general information About their appointment.

Peter was excellent! He changed my credit card on file and updated that info and also set up a ticket for customer service to get back in touch with me to come spray the inside of my home. I really appreciate his service and everything is awesome at Ecoshield!

Nick just came to give us our one month follow-up after setting up our initial service. She was AMAZING! She was friendly, professional, on-time, and very thorough. She clearly explained what she was going to be doing, made sure I understood, and asked me a few times if I had any questions. After meeting her today, she just reinforced the kind of exceptional customer service I can expect from Ecoshield. So glad we made the switch from Joshua’s!

I don't really know because I was not outside watching him. He seemed nice and professional. One of our problems is carpenter ants, and he sprayed the railroad ties that attract them. Unfortunately, the next day we had areas of dead grass from the overspray.

I have never had such a horrible stereotypically useless outsourced "customer service" experience in my life. Your only option to schedule service is by calling the 888 outsourced number, no email option, just calling. You then get the outsourced "customer service" people who can’t actually do anything at all but make you explain yourself and after EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE THEY REPEAT BACK EVERY SINGLE WORD YOU SAID! Without actually doing anything. Then they transfer you to the next person and you get to do it all over again, and they won’t do anything either. And you better believe they will repeat every single word right back at you, even if you ask them to stop! Obviously this makes the phone calls excruciatingly long and you never get scheduled or anything done in the end. In my entire life dealing with 800 numbers and customer service in general, I have never had experiences this bad. Every single time you call. Wasted 2 hours of my life with this nonsense.

Where to start? First, ES ignored my no soliciting sign and still knocked on my door to sell their product. My mistake for answering. Unfortunately for me, the sales guy was very convincing and locked me in to a 2 year contract. I was quite vulnerable as I had my newborn in my arms and was trying to be polite. The initial service calls were fine. But then came a "complimentary interior pest treatment at no cost" ... I was told on the phone and by the tech that there would be no charge but when I looked at my CC & account, I see a charge for $370 ... well above what even a normal service call would even be!! Obviously this is concerning and has impacted the trust I have with this company. When I asked to cancel my service, they insisted that I would have to pay the $250 cancellation fee even though it was their negligence that lead me to want to part ways before the 2 year mark. To remedy this, they offered me a shortened 1-year contract at a lower rate. I guess that is the better of two evils to not throw away $250. Moral of the story, CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS. And I have learned my lesson on getting locked into a contract/having my CC on file.
