We ordered a pest inspection from Bouey Termite Service, Inc. in January 2021 during the purchase of our house. When we moved into the house, we noticed numerous termite holes in our home along the edge of the window frames, and termite tunnels clearly visible on the exterior of the house (see attached photos). These obvious problems were not caught on the inspection. We have been forced to treat for termites since taking possession of the house. We are extremely disappointed in the quality of Bouey Termite Service’s inspection, and we recently emailed Bouey to ask that they refund the cost of the inspection and our termite treatment. Upon reaching out to Bouey, they refused to refund us for the inspection or the termite treatment, stating that the areas we referenced "were not visible and/or accessible for inspection." However, the termite tunnels were on the EXTERIOR wall in front of the property, a wall that was easily accessible to the inspector, and a wall that they either inspected incredibly poorly, or didn’t inspect at all. The pinholes on the interior wall in the living room, the exterior of which had termite tubes clearly visible to a termite inspector, should have been a clear indicator of significant termite activity. I strongly encourage anyone considering using Bouey Termite Service to opt for another company instead due to their negligent inspection and unwillingness to correct their mistakes.

They do not take photos of their findings on Termite Inspections. They say they have never taken photos for 10 years and when I heard this, I knew they were not being fully transparent with me. I understand it takes work to copy and paste photos to a report, so I can overlook that, but when I had a question on some of the items on the report, they contended that they do not take photos in support of those findings. I have to find another company and I am out the $150.00 for their inspection that had no photographic evidence of a roof problem that was about $1,200.00 to fix. I am not even sure I really have an issue since the roof is brand new in 2018 with a 50 year Tile Roof. **They were unwilling to come back and take photos in support of their findings.** Office staff was very responsive and scheduling went fine. Inspector was on time and professional. Hope they decide to take photos on future jobs.
