Shout out to Kaymon from Blake Brothers for doing a great job with our home water heater install! He was personable, a cheerful worker on the job, and great around our six young (but well behaved) children who were eager observers... not the easiest work situation perhaps for some! Kaymon had just completed another job for us with a new water pipe to the house after having a leak with the original galvanized pipe, which had to be disconnected and bypassed. In the case of the water heater, it was time to replace the 26-year old one, but we also needed it moved from the closet beneath the stairs to the garage on the other side of the wall. The job was cleanly done in a timely manner, and Kaymon even took time to show the older kids the various steps as he went. My wife considered it a part of their homeschooling curriculum: a field trip at home! Kaymon offered his input regarding choice of water heater, given our requirements, and notified us of a TVA rebate currently running through early 2026 for a new combo heater/compressor technology (called a heat pump water heater), which will help save on energy usage. He was knowledgeable about the benefits and manufacturer, and even went to bat for us when the manufacturer said they were out of stock and unable to ship without an additional charge (Mfr rep apparently had guaranteed Blake Bros availability before we requested one). He successfully pushed to get us a free upgrade (same capacity as desired, 65gal) with a Wi-Fi capable unit after the Mfr said there were no units available of the model we ordered, and made sure no additional cost was passed onto us. Additionally, after the work we had done with both jobs, Kaymon was able to get us a discount with Blake Brothers with a one-year warranty thrown in and applied with the financing we elected to do, which was competitive as a construction type loan with no collateral required. Overall, highly recommend!

Fast to arrive for evaluation only. Pleasant technician. Quite pricey for a dryer vent clean out only + replacement vent cap. Charged additional $250 for "steep roof" and "tight space" even though we have a walk in attic where there’s no crouching required. The exterior vent is on the first floor roof about 4’ from the gutter. Around 15’-20’ from ground. May update review after work is completed.

Shane was sent out to look at an issue that caused a really bad flood of everything we were using on the two upper levels of our home, which was coming up from the drain line of the washing machine drain line. It was literally every new homeowners worst nightmare sewage water sink water, shower, you name it it was all coming out in the lower level area which is where my bedroom and the laundry room are that connects to the garage. Not only was Shane able to quickly able to recognize what the issue was, he took his time and explained everything to me in full detail as well as literally explaining how each of the machines/tools he used worked and I could see with my own eyes while he used this camera type machine what had caused the disaster in the lowest level of my home. He worked being careful and cautious to make sure he didn’t damage anything he was working on. Shane is not only an amazing technician, he literally is the most patient person I’ve met in a long time and literally felt like a family member almost instantly. His kindness speaks volumes within itself, but not only was he great at the work he did and being one of the most beautiful souls I’ve had the pleasure to run across, he followed up with me the very next day to see how things were going and to make sure I wasn’t having anymore issues with the issue he fixed. He also got me in touch with a restoration company to come and assess the damage the flood has left behind and I can’t thank Shane enough for everything he has and is still doing to help me with the aftermath of the issue that caused serious damage to my bedroom and laundry room and garage that the flood caused damage to. I wouldn’t want anyone else handling any and all of plumbing issues I may encounter in the future unless its Shane. Blake Brothers are truly blessed to have him as one of their technicians. I highly recommend their service and I highly recommend asking for Shane if he is available, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Oh and I forgot to mention they are very reasonable with their pricing!! My overall experience was top notch. Thank you Shane!!!!!!

Jarick came out to clean our unit after their routine inspections. He was very thorough and did a fantastic job! Our unit had not been cleaned since we moved in, so it was long over due and he brought it back to life.

John Patterson was a pleasure to work with. He was thoroughly educated about his work and super nice. He took good care of our issue and we will definitely use this company again. Thanks Blake Bros! Highly recommend, communicate was top tier. We also worked with Aaron Johnson on this project and he was also amazing! Never complained and always answered when we called. Great team in the Blake Bros company.

As always I can count on Blake Brothers to fix my problems fast and affordable. Matt Goodman was exceptional and kept me in full details on what on what he doing and also taught preventative maintenance so this problem doesn’t happen again. Thank you so much. Also I had an appointment for tomorrow but they worked me in the same day and that means so much. Thanks again for the excellent service.

Matthew Howell (our technician) was exceptional. He was very professional and thorough in changing out our water heater. He was very personable and very good at explaining what to do after the installation. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
