I wish I had read these reviews, rather than trusting my super, who recommended these scam artists. If you are looking for an honest plumber, DO NOT USE SYSTEMS 2000. I was quoted $863 to fix my toilet when it flooded my apartment on a Sunday. The Systems 200 "plumber" spent several hours looking at the toilet and removed it from the bathroom to determine the cause of the leak. After doing that, he said the toilet should work. Two days later, when the toilet would not flush, another "plumber" from Systems 2000 spent several hours doing the same thing the technician did on Sunday. After he put the toilet back, he looked inside the tank and said the problem was caused by mismatched parts within the toilet tank. Any plumber, with the most minimal training, should have looked first at the tank to see if there was a problem there, before tearing up my bathroom. It is painfully obvious that the hours spent dismantling the toilet were a ruse to jack up unnecessary fees for an unnecessary service. Although I was quoted $863 for the work, I ended up with a bill for $2527.59 for work that was clearly entirely unnecessary. When I reached out to the company to discuss the bill, I was told that I was charged for "travel" time and the extra hours that they spent doing unnecessary work. DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY.

I am still stunned by the stunt this hack organization is trying to pull. There was a leak in my daughters coop that caused the neighbor's ceiling to split. The neighbor called an emergency plumber that came out looked in the hole took a video and said what was wrong. I was visiting and in a hurry. so I asked for a price to fix and they said they would get back to me. The 550 price was shocking but it was explained as an emergency, the price doubled. After not hearing back I contacted this company. I explained the problem, and they said they would be there to "assess and repair". I was to pay one hour in advance and then billed aprox 250 each additional hour. They came and stayed and stayed and stayed doing nothing. The came up to our apartment, rolled back shower door then went back downstairs. approximately 90 minutes into it, a supervisor showed up to assess. He said they had to do a proposal but I would have to do much prep work. I explained this was an emergency and he said they would get back to me and left. 4 days later ( admit weekend was involved, ) I got a ridiculous proposal which I said no to. Then. a. bill for an additional 3 hours work which included making a ceiling hole (already there) and closing it with wood which was not asked for (costing me additional money to have it reopened ) and saying there were there for 4 hours when my neighbor went to work and we went to lunch 2. hours and. 45 minutes after they arrived and left. This company is a complete scam. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. WHILE THEY APPEAR NICE, THEY ARE COMPLETE RIPOFF ARTISTS

A scamming company that charges you about 2.5x the market price while wasting your time. The 2.9 stars on Google and 2.4 stars on yelp are self-explanatory (many of the reviews are fake and from the employees). Summary: - scheduled for fixing three toilets at 9am - arrived at 930am and acted as if nothing was wrong - the task was to change the valve for two toilets and fix the odor coming from a third - I provided the valve for the first toilet already - the plumber said my valve had two missing parts and had to go get a new one, and then disappeared for over half an hour - I checked online and my valve was correct and it was an unopened box (not missing any parts), so I didn’t actually have to buy a new valve - it took around two hours for two people to change the valve for the first toilet, but I googled and it takes 45 minutes to change a valve (60 minutes for an amateur or non-professional) - they left again at 11:46 saying he had to get another more expensive valve for the second toilet (which I googled was untrue). They couldn’t just get the second valve the first time they disappeared? At 12:30, we ask them by text message where they went, and they said they were coming back - they returned at 1:06 and changed the second toilet valve until 1:52 (46 minutes, magically more than two times faster after I caught on to their schemes) - from 1:52 to 2:10, he went to check out the problem of the third toilet - at that point I just told them to leave, just to cut my losses - he opened his phone app and asked me to sign (it was already on the signature page which was a blank box). I told him to show me what I was signing. He then took his device back and then went back a page and proceeded to edit a lot of the details, before passing the phone back to me - I received the bill shortly after for five hours of work (presumably 0900-1400) which probably includes the half hour delay and fake lunch break. Surprisingly the valve for the first toilet was not on the bill, as the plumber knew I had already caught on to the scamming. The bill includes lots of miscellaneous items like cloths, rags, etc. I checked on Amazon that my second valve cost $29 but I was billed over 100 dollars for materials. - I confronted the company by email and receiving a template reply saying they would check with the mechanic with no apology or surprise, and then never received another reply (definitely scamming is the way they operate) - I filed a dispute with my credit card company and won (without a defense from the other side). I proceeded to send the credit card the videos I took of all our interactions and their arrival/departure/disappearance times to have them added to the fraud list - I reported to all of: plumbing licensing company, better business bureau, consumer protection office. You should do the same if you find yourself the victim of their plumbing scams - you can also try to get them off the recommended list for your building and report them if a kickback arrangement is there - despite all the above, the company decided to not reply after the first email - although the problem of my first two toilets was fixed (it was just changing a valve), so much time was wasted that I had to find another plumber to fix my third toilet. Probably their game plan was just to bill me a full day while endlessly disappearing in the middle

Dishonest company - avoid them at all cost. They charged me over $2,000 for 5-1/2 hours of work when in fact the technician worked for only 4-1/2 hours. When I challenged this with their finance person, Almira, she simply stopped returning my phone calls. Very disappointing.

Feel free to reach out to me on insta my handle is ellieprazier , I am happy to attest to the horrible behavior of this company. I have reported them to the better business bureau and will be trying to contact whichever organization licensed them. I implore you to do your research and read all the reviews below mine. The below others reviews encouraged me to write one as well as it’s important to check! Now I realize! I wished I looked them up before I allowed the manager of my building to send them to my apartment when I had a small leak. I wish there was a way to contact the below other people who have the same situation so we could take them to claims court together, or report them to their licensor, please reach out to me. 1. They over billed me by multiple hours saying they had overtime when they were in our unit for less than 1 hour as I was home when they came. The bill goes straight to our building and it was paid then passed to me with no repercussions of their actions since auto paid by the building then passed down. I see below this is their MO and are getting away with it. I did not research them until it happened to me and now I know better. Gets worse as they failed at their job. 2. They charged me for drop cloths, random parts, and other random charges in which were not used in any way. 3. They were hired to evaluate a leak and did not catch it because two months later it imploded and bursted in the spot they "fixed". I called another plumber myself instead of using the building manager's recommendation because of their over billing and was told it was not fixed in the correct area which caused it to burst. They will not return my calls.

Be very cautious if your super hires these plumbers for your coop apartment. I am not the type to write reviews, but I am shocked at the blatant corruption of this company and my building management. Swindled is understatement and I wish I did my due diligence of at least looking them up. We had a small leaky faucet from a guest bath sink that we wanted fixed and asked the super to fix it. The super said he would need to call the building's plumber so I agree to the appointment the super set up. Systems 2000 comes and goes within 30 mins on a Wednesday afternoon can be verified on our nanny cam. We get the bill from the building for 2 hours of work on overtime and extra charges for tarps and other materials they never used. I call the management company to dispute these charges, and nothing could be done as the building already paid them as it was billed to the residential complex itself and then was passed on to me through maintenance fees. I have called Systems 2000 four times and each time get different answers and promises to follow up with no one following through. Now my calls are just going unanswered because they know they need to refund the building or me directly. I find out this is not the buildings plumber as I was led to believe, this is the super's recommended plumber and not only that but other residents have made complaints and that there is high suspicion the super is getting kick backs which is why they are continued to be pushed on residents. Most residents just pay it and do not ask questions, so it went unnoticed for about a year before my issue arose in June . The super has now been fired, systems 2000 is not allowed to work in our building, however I still don't have my money back because the building is the one charged than passed to me. I cant even take them to small claims because the coop would have to and that is a much larger process. I am just out of the money. I do not write reviews but this had to be noted and I wished I looked them up before hand because I see many reviews saying the same issues. Now that we have worked with other plumbers I will say the average rate for a plumber per hour in midtown east is $165-$185/hr for complicated issues. $125-150/hr for smaller problems. We have inquired with 4 plumbing companies about pricing, so we now have a preferred vendor list for residents. Systems 2000 charged $250/hr and $375/hr for overtime for leaking faucet that needed to be tightened. I assume the difference of the average rate was going to the super. Stay away.

Don't use this company - run away as soon as possible. They were recommended by the super of my building, but I ultimately did not use them. I didn't believe they knew the source of my plumbing problem. They claimed the problem was cause by a faulty valve in my apartment plumbing and wanted to break a hole in my wall to fix it. I got a second opinion from a reputable plumber with outstanding reviews who charged my $200 to take a look at my situation. Within one minute, he concluded the problem was an issue with the plumbing in the building, which is what I suspected and the reason I sought a second opinion. The problem continued for several weeks and one day it stopped. I asked the building workers whether the building recently had any plumbing work performed and was told, yes. I then asked what was done and found out an air valve was replaced in the hot water tank. Hence, the real source of my problem.
