Jake with Hull Plumbing was phenomenal. After discussing the issue, he got right to work and took complete care of what another company did not less than a month ago. I called Hull Plumbing when my sump pump failed and left me with about an inch of water in my basement—total nightmare. They advertised a free quote for replacement, which sounded great since I’d already picked up a new pump from Lowe’s. But when they came out, their "quote" was outrageous: $599 just to install the pump I provided, plus another $450 to drain the water! That’s over a grand for what should be a straightforward job. I politely declined, headed back to Lowe’s, grabbed $25 worth of PVC pipe, and handled the whole thing myself in 20 minutes. Saved myself $1,024 and a headache. Seems like they’re out to gouge customers. One star is generous.

Excitement to pay for plumbing services is rare, and not something I will claim occurred here - but when you do find yourself in a situation of need I would wholeheartedly recommend Hull Plumbing, They took my call on a Sunday to get detail and quickly followed up with a call back to schedule service as precise as a 2 hour window. A text is sent prior to technician arriving which is convenient to make sure pets etc. can be put away. My technician, Danny, could not have been more helpful. He quickly gave me a fair quote with multiple options and reasoning for pricing. Once the work was agreed to, he was accommodating of my request to watch repairs so that I could learn and be more confident in the work done in my home. He was happy to answer questions and give guidance on why different aspects of the work were important - while still completing the work efficiently at a high quality. He also recommended preventative work noticed as needed on the property with explanation on why it would be important to resolve. While Hull Plumbing was great at every step of the process, Danny truly deserves praise as a professional at his craft who gave me confidence in the work performed at my home. Thank you!

I called to have our tankless water heater serviced after receiving an error message and not getting hot water. I was told on the phone I would not be charged for the service call and before any services were done I would be quoted a price first. Someone came out and shortly after the gas company notified us someone hit a gas line, explaining the error code and no services were needed at the time. I was charged just under $100 for the visit, which I wasn’t totally expecting but fine. They came out and he did investigative work on the water heater. I checked my other gas appliances and they were working but didn’t check my gas meter so I figured that was on me. We haven’t had any maintenance done on the water heater since we moved in over a year ago so I scheduled that. I didn’t write the price down but he did quote me a number just under $300. A different tech came back days later and I was then quoted almost $450 to flush it. I told him that wasn’t what I was initially quoted. I did a quick google search and that price was almost $100 over what the high end of average was. I felt the first tech was a little curt and he would just open the back door and walk in while here. Again, fine I get he’s doing work but I was expecting at least a curtesy knock before coming in. The second tech was really kind. He knocked and waited until I opened the door, I appreciated his courtesy. I felt bad refusing service but I made one phone call to a different company and they’re coming out to do the same job for under half the price I was quoted.

Zach did amazing! When he showed up he was ready to help in our time of need being so close to the Thanksgiving. He understood the problem and was ready to help with the cheapest solution. After speaking with my wife she was ready to replace our water heater instead. He was very efficient. His willingness to get something done immediately and possibly cheaper (even though our water heater was 26 yrs old) is why we chose Hull plumbing and why we would do it again. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of service I received. It’s hard to find good service nowadays. I got the complete runaround from the last person my landlord hired for my plumbing. Went a week without a word from the previous Plumber. Spoke with The receptionist and they got someone out the same day! And he was very friendly and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 would recommend for sure.
