First off, I would like to say that I rarely post reviews but feel I had to do this because of the wonderful job that Ivan and his team did. I called Ivan and he came out to inspect our roof and unfortunately, our roof was in pretty bad shape (something as a homeowner you dread hearing). Despite the bad news, Ivan provided several options that included replacing our roof in two stages, keeping cost in mind. Not only did this give me what I needed to make an informed decision, but it really showed me how much Ivan stood out from other roofing companies I got quotes from. His knowledge and empathy really sealed the deal for me and his quotes were very reasonable. I ended up deciding to do my entire roof with Ivan and his team and have no regrets. Ivan informed me that after obtaining the necessary permits, he would be able to have my entire roof replaced in four days. But his team finished a day earlier than expected, which was wonderful news! During the three days of work, Ivan texted for any decisions I needed to make and also sent me pictures to show his team’s progress. This was a nice touch to keep me well informed. At the end of each day, his team cleaned up making sure there was no debris or hazards around my house. The city inspector came during and after the roof was completed to ensure things were done properly and up to code. Overall, I am very happy with Ivan and his team and the great job they did. We have had two storms and high winds since completing the new roof and no leaks whatsoever. I do have to mention that during the high winds, one of our wood panels in the front of our house where the roof joins came off and shattered so the underlying wood in that area was exposed. I reached out to Ivan informing him and he had someone from his team come and nail in/secure a spare wood panel I had. This just goes to show how much Ivan cares about his customers and the jobs he completes. I highly recommend him and his team for any roofing needs you may have. You won’t regret it.

I met with and talked to six different roofing companies. Andrew at Modern Roofing company came through as the most knowledgeable with the most hands on industry specific information. He knew so much more than all of the other people that it was very obvious that he knew what he was talking about. We got an excellent quote with excellent financing and we’re gonna sign with them soon. Recently had the switch to two stars due to lots of problems with the job. We’ll just have to see how things go if I’ll be able to add more stars.

Ivan and his team are the best! He is recommended to me by my realtor because I needed to replace my roof and Ivan and his team did a fantastic job! Ivan’s team showed up on time and they are very courteous. He sent me a team of 7 people to make sure we can get the job done in less than 2 days before the heavy rain starts to come. Not only did his team replace my roof, but they also replaced my old air vent and drip edge flashings. They use quality materials and clean up well after the project. They also made sure the gutter is clean and free of any debris. Ivan is fair, honest, responsive and his fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend Modern Roofing! Andrew helped me so much it was unbelievable. Finding good customer service in 2024 is so rare. This is wildly impressive. You can tell this team has a great positive work environment because everyone is amazing. Do not hesitate to work with this company once again Andrew and Dean thank you so much for your help. Modern Roofing was a wonderful company to work with. I noticed some water coming through our upstairs ceiling. I called Modern Roofing from a personal referral and Ivan answered. He was super-friendly and came the same day to look at this issue. He was thorough and explained everything in detail including all my options. Price estimate was extremely reasonable especially in the Bay Area. Communication was superb throughout the process and Ivan was able to come have to the roof replaced within a week. The team arrived right on-time and were extremely diligent and professional throughout the repair process. Ivan texted me photos throughout the process to keep me updated which was fantastic. We had an issue with water pooling and a drain that was not working. At completion, he went through all the repairs and details thoroughly with me. Ivan showed me the issues causing the water pooling and how it was addressed including the drain fix. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Ivan and his team and Modern Roofing!

I worked with Ivan to have a leak fixed on my roof. He was very quick and thorough. Where other companies quoted for very expensive repairs Modern Roofing was able to do a simple fix at a fraction of the price.
