We are very happy with our new Arctic Black 26 gauge metal roof! It is attractive and was installed by skilled workers who used chalk lines to precisely align the matching color covered fasteners and replaced our aging skylights with thermal glass ones that let in so much more light, even moon light! They cleaned up everything and neither my cars or lawn mowers collected any screws or nails. This is my third roof from DHI. I highly recommend them!

The entire experience of getting a new roof was positive. The office staff was very helpful and the installers worked hard and did a great job cleaning up after completion. They used the best materials available and were thousands of dollars less than several competitors I spoke to. Basically, they were timely, efficient and extremely nice to deal with.

DO NOT use Duffield Home Improvements. Absolute horrible experience. Took months of me calling to get them to come out to do the work after I paid the 50% deposit. 5 months later, after paying the balance, everything they supposedly "fixed" is still broken. The roof is still leaking everywhere. The gutters are leaking between the soffit and the "new" gutters multiple places. And the "new" screen door handle broke apart so I have to use a string to open the "new" door. I called the office several times. Spoke to the VP of the company and emailed the owner, William Duffield. No response. No apology and zero effort to complete the work I paid $8500 for. Search their name in the local Facebook groups. Multiple people had the same issues I had. The cost of this project was a sacrifice for me as a single mom with two kids still in college. And William Duffield could care less about making it right. Disgraceful. EDIT- to reply to Duffield. Now you reply to me? What about all the messages I left? I literally had to call all the "contractors" you were supposed to deal with myself. AND my porch roof is STILL leaking. You didn’t fix what you were paid for.

I'd say the "roof replacement" job was fine. Two major issues which I just found out. 1) I had two attic vents and two axial ventilation fans in the attic above the garage. They removed one vent and took or threw away my ventilation fan which I paid a lot of money for. 2) they took or threw away the gutter guards. I just noticed that water was spilling out from the gutter during some recent rains. I climbed up today and found all my gutter guards were gone and the gutter is completely clogged with leaves from nearby trees. Took me hours to clear out the gutter and now have to spend more money to install new gutter guards.

My husband and I were thrilled with the entire process! The quality of the materials, the continuous communication and education, and every employee we encountered was wonderful! I look forward to singing their praises to anyone who needs a roofing company recommendation!

We had an excellent experience with Duffield. Bill, the owner, came for the free estimate himself to replace our roof shingles. I made at least a dozen appointments with other local places and Bill just gave me the best impression. He was honest, professional and knowledgeable. He also answered follow up questions by phone quickly. Although his estimate was not the lowest (maybe the 3rd lowest), it was well priced for the quality of materials and services. I am glad I went with my gut feeling because our home's roof has never looked better. It has been several years since the new roof was installed and we have had no issues. I must add that we needed to have our roof done ASAP because our insurance company surprised us with a need to replace the roof or our Homeowners Insurance would be canceled. Duffield listened to our needs and went above and beyond by scheduling our job so it can be done with lots of time to spare. His crew was also very professional and efficient.
