Rain Defense

I've been dealing with a water leak coming from above our large slider door in our living room for over six years - it would rain inside 2-4x year when the atmospheric rivers rolled through the Bay. I've worked with multiple contractors who were never able to solve the problem. Rain Defense approached it differently — they methodically tested (visual, water, etc), removed siding, and eventually traced the issue back to water intrusion from above. Once they identified the source, they replaced the rotted wood, installed new waterproofing, and carefully rebuilt the exterior. The final step was painting the siding so it blended seamlessly with the rest of the house, leaving no trace of the repair work. After years of frustration, I finally feel confident the problem is resolved thanks to their thorough and professional approach. I highly recommend working with them!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Rain Defense. We purchased our first home knowing there was an issue with our roof. Unfortantely the first day we moved in we noticed a leak after a night of rain. Rain Defense came to our rescue and replaced our entire roof in 4-Days. Adriano and his team were very responsive, professional, and efficient throughout the process. Their price to replace the roof was very reasonable compared to other bids we received. My experience with Rain Defense is as good as it gets. Rain Defense replaced an exterior deck that had been very poorly installed 8 years prior and was leaking. Rain Defense removed and replace the entire deck. Each person who spent time on the job was terrific. The job foreman, Gelber gave me great comfort in initially diagnosing the problem and walking me through the replacement process. Each tradesperson who worked on the deck was excellent trained and meticulous in following their protocols, from installing the subfloor to installing the flashing, to tackling some complex carpentry, to with great care installing the initial and subsequent layers of the new deck. Infinitely better than the prior firm. The January rains began after only the initial waterproofing surface had been installed, and yet the entire deck and ceiling below, which had been badly leaking from the prior deck installation, was bone dry, so the Rain Defense deck has been severely tested, and has done great, and beyond that it is very attractive. The office people are equally helpful and professional. Special thanks to each person who worked on the job, each was terrific--Christian!, Gelberto!, Luis! and Santiago!, as well as to Gelber and owner Mike, who has put together a great group of talented people. Was on the 24 and your truck driver tailed a family car and then swerved into my lane to cut them off. It was also dark enough that all cars had their headlights on except this truck. Seems unprofessional, especially if you have your brand and phone number in red plastered all over your vehicle.

Poor customer service , they just hang up the phone on you.

Rain Defense is great. We had a roof leak and when called for repairs they send a crew right away to take care of the needed roof repairs.
