After being denied several claims for a new roof by my insurance company, I was forced to pay for it out of my own pocket. I had several local roofing companies give me estimates for replacement of the roof, gutters and downspouts. After 3 or 4 estimates, I was so frustrated with the lack of professionalism displayed by all of them for one reason or another. I am a 75 year old senior who was thinking that I would probably die before I get the roof replaced. Not long after I had given up on the idea of getting a new roof, a local contractor, working on an interior project, referred me to Lastime Exteriors of Omaha. I called Jamie, the company owner, and he personally was on my property within 48 hours. I found him to be knowledgeable, and was mindful of my needs of being a senior with a very limited budget. He gave me an offer that was very reasonable and what I deemed fair. I consummated an agreement with him and the job was finished on time without any issues. After an extremely exhausting back and forth with our insurance company, we finally got a positive decision on replacing our roof. My spouse and I decided we wanted to potentially upgrade to a metal roof if possible and talked to multiple reputable companies in the metro area with out much success. A friend recommended Lastime Exteriors whom performed a metal shingle upgrade to his late 1800’s restored barn venue and had nothing but positive to say about their quality of work and gave me their contact information. We met with Bob with Lastime and he took us serious from the start and all we can say this was top notch from beginning to end. Not only did he take over communication with the insurance company (which had been nothing but a headache for the prior 5 months) he showed them all the details and materials they had missed in the estimate which added up to thousands of dollars less out of our pocket to cover the upgrade from asphalt to stone covered steel. Our house now has the best looking profile on the street with this upgrade Lastime Exterior installed.

They provided a clear, detailed estimate, answered all my questions, and worked with me to choose the right materials for both quality and budget. What stood out most was their attention to detail and commitment to doing things right the first time. My new roof looks fantastic, and I've already noticed improved insulation and noise reduction inside the house. If you're looking for reliable, honest, and skilled roofers, I highly recommend. Phenomenal experience with these guys. They were very responsive and got me a quote within a timely manner. They communicated with me on every part of the process. I needed new roof decking on a valley. Their team showed me where my original was rotting and worked with me on pricing new lumber.
