Archuleta Remodel

Archuleta was hired to manage a water leak situation at my house which occurred in May 2023. They responded quickly which I thank them for. The brick floor was lifted and the kitchen was dismantled. When the floor and cabinets were reinstalled without attention to the detail in which they were originally assembled by a master craftsman, many things had to be corrected or couldn't be corrected. The brick floor was put back so sloppily that I had to ask to have it redone. They would not do it again and instead replaced bricks that were chipped (by them when they were being removed) and attempted to fill resulting gaps with new and completely mismatched bricks. The final attempt after I didn't accept their "patches" multiple times was made in November 2023 and this is what I ended up with as shown in the photos. I was offered a $2000 reduction in the cost and the invoice stated "This invoice is the agreed to amount with homeowner due to improper installation of brick flooring." They say it was a bad installation but would not replace it or fix it with matching bricks. I will end up using the $2000 to replace the floor with a capable and conscientious company in the near future. My house is historic and I was assured that attention to detail would be a top priority (i.e. matching the old bricks, re-installing tiles and cupboards to their original state). I feel that I was lied to and ended up with inferior work. In the end, they wore me out and I took their offer to reduce the price of the work so I could move on. If you care about having a job well done, please look elsewhere.

This is the most wonderful experience I have ever had with a company. I had a pipe under my slab that broke. The floor contained asbestos . So an abatement had to be done.. They are there when they say they will be, they come in do their work with expertise and clean up after themselves. They are professionals. They keep you informed of delays and updates. Dealing with Franklin,Leo, David, and Mark has taken an incredible stress off my shoulders. They are detail oriented, and make sure everything is top notch. They had issues to redo that the plumbers did not complete properly, and never batted an eyelash. I am so impressed with them! My new floor is gorgeous! Almost complete. I have already recommended them to family and friends. I sing praises about them

We worked with Wade from Archuleta Restoration from out of state, and I have to say we were very pleased with the communication and work that was accomplished. We trusted his crew to get the work done in a timely manner, which they did. I would highly recommend them for all of your needs.

The team for remediation of water and related water damage was top notch! They were timely, detailed and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend that team for remediation. While much of the remodel was done well, particularly the new floor installation, the painting and finishing touches were very amateur (thresholds installed poorly, cabinet face and edges were damaged, base boards were broken or scratched and painted over, etc.). It’s been four months and the two people I was working with on this were not able to find the time to come by, despite making plans and promises regularly to do so.

Archuleta Restoration was very helpful when our house flooded in August, 2018. They were here promptly and removed the water within 2 hours, preventing any further damage that was sure to occur but for their prompt efficient attention. Great local business that I highly recommend.

Archuleta Restoration and Remodel is a great company! I was very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism shown by them!! They were timely with there responses and finished the job sooner than I expected it would take !!! Would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking any type of remodel!!
