Excellent service, very communicative, and got the job done right! When the sewer backed up after some big storms I was so stressed but Ken and Pablo did a great job demoing and remediating and left the basement looking great. Can’t recommend them enough

Having your main sewer line back up and flood half of your basement is pretty much every homeowner's worst nightmare. We contacted 1-800 Water Damage in the evening, and Ken arrived early the very next day. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and understanding. He worked around our schedule and explained every part of the clean-up process multiple times. We felt super confident that he was doing a thorough and solid job for us. Of all the people we've dealt with during this stressful time, he has hands down been the easiest to work with! Would 100% recommend to others.

I can’t say enough about how great their service was. We had a water emergency and the plumber was only going to be able do so much. They were able to come out at the same time as the plumber so they could discuss the issue without me playing telephone, they quickly assessed the situation and while they could have recommended way more work, but instead let us know that we were in better shape than was originally suspected. They were fast, clean, professional and nice. Would 100% recommend them and would call them again if we needed more work.

The most important thing to consider as a customer when hiring a service is whether you can trust the business. This is truly a trustworthy business. I had water damage on the basement ceiling because of a leaky pipe above it, and I got the recommendation from the next-door neighbor and called Michael to come out to give me an estimate. Michael was prompt in taking phone calls and came out the first thing on a Sunday morning. He was patient in explaining how they work with the insurance, how he would treat the damage, and assessed the area of the water damage on the ceiling with instruments, and wrote up the contract (he even found where the leaking came from). When going through the contract, I realized that he only deals with the water damage, not the plumbing and drywall portions of the work, so I decided not to use his service considering the manageable extent of the water damage on the ceiling. I felt sorry to make him spend so much time coming out to do the estimate and wanted to compensate him, but he insisted that he could not take any payment for this service because they offer free estimate. He didn't get upset and was very very friendly and polite even though he lost his Sunday morning coming over to my house. What a wonderful business and extraordinary owner! This is the kind of business you can totally trust.

We noticed water leaking at the base of our toilet and found the wood flooring around the toilet felt spongy. Called 1-800 Water Damage to get an estimate for repairs. Both Mark and Mike came out to our home within an hour to inspect and assess the damage by measuring the moister content in the floor, the walls, and the basement ceiling below. In the end they reported that we caught the leak early and didn't need their services. The wood flooring around the toilet needs replacement and they recommended a flooring company to do the work. They were prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend them for any water/fire damage to your home.

Highly recommend! Mark and Mike were all around great to work with - they made a very stressful event (sump pump broke and flooded the basement) easier to deal with. They were very communicative and willing to answer all my questions, flexible with timing, and did really good work getting everything dried out so that we wouldn't have to do a lot of unnecessary and unplanned for repairs.
