BELFOR Property Restoration

The crew that showed up on time today was very efficient. They did a great job. I received a call from the project manager inquiring if they could come in early even though my contents were still in the renovation area. We found a way to get that done and the crew worked around the furniture contents with no issues to speak of. They cleaned up and took all trash with them. A full days work. Nice job.

edit: in the time since posting this review, yet another employee has left for a competitor. Almost half of the staff from just a year ago have left and not been replaced. Is this the kind of company you want running your job? Don't let the image of BELFOR as a reputable global brand trick you into thinking that the local Grand Rapids office can handle your project without serious issues. Year after year of financial losses have meant that in the recent past all of its competent and expert employees have either left to work for competitors or were let go in an attempt to salvage overhead costs. Its "successes" are all masks: corporate clients are locked into contracts and have to use them, residential clients get recommended BELFOR by their insurers and don't know any better, and even their middling Google review score has been manipulated by a planned effort to beg reviews from the homeowners where nothing happened to go wrong. If you have any desire to see your mitigation or reconstruction project run smoothly, be finished on time, be handled with expertise, or even be guaranteed after the work is completed, ServPro, John Grace, ServiceMaster, Paul Davis, or any number of other companies will take care of you. BELFOR Grand Rapids will only bring you more problems and headaches.

Brian and Zack are jokes. Brian is a bully and Zack is a used car salesman. DO NOT use them for any insurance job. They waste precious time and money, fail to communicate in a timely manner, procrastinate on completing the basic tasks of a general contractor or project manager, charge you/your insurance well above market rates AND when fired for their incompetence, become threatening and vindictive. Reports will be filed with Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and the Michigan Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Division.

Super great experience with Belford! I had no idea where to start with the water damage in my home and my insurance company sent them out and glad they did because Mike, Angel, and Adam have been amazing with meeting my homes needs and finding a plumber for me as well. Couldn’t have done this process without this great team of people 🙂 Looking forward to seeing the rest of their work as they continue to assist!

BELFOR is a company that does excellent work. I personally had the pleasure of working with Sam and Zach. They were so nice and professional at all times. I loved the way they communicated with me every step of the way. If an issues came up during the process they did everything in their power to resolve it quickly and efficiently. They replaced my downstairs bathroom to include a new shower, vanity, drywall and paint. It looks fabulous. I also had some doors replaced and they also looked really nice. I would recommend this company if you ever needed any type of Restoration.

3 weeks of getting the run around for an estimate. When I decide to go with another company for my estimate, Cassie rudely just hung up and doesnt even apologize for wasting my time. I would never recommended this company to anyone.

Do not use this company was promised lean to house would be removed if I paid just under 11k to them out of my own pocket after they took 2 years and 200k+ worth of insurance money, so i wrote check month later and lean still not removed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGREAT IT.......
