Choosing Belfor was the best decision I made after a fire damaged our home. From the night of the fire until we moved back in a week ago, they handled everything! The staff was always professional but went above and beyond for our family. We felt as though they cared. Our house looks beautiful. Thank you Belfor, for a job well done!

Belfor is one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My mom's smoke damage from an electrical short in her crawl space led to a completely gutted house , all the way to studs. The communication was extraordinary EVERY step of the way. The skill and craftsmanship of the project lead was amazing. Their dedication ,expertise ,creativity, hard work, support, patience, and encouragement will not go unnoticed. Our family is grateful for the amazing rebuild that Belfor has completed. I have never experienced anything like this before and this team at Belfor eased the stress of a terrible situation. This company should be commended on an excellent job well done. I recommend them to anyone. Thanks to everyone at Belfor that helped in the process of this rebuild, you are amazing.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Belford has been the worst experience I've had with any contractor. My home repair started back in October 2024—it’s now May 2025, and the project is still nowhere near finished. I’ve been deployed out of state multiple times on military orders and made every effort to communicate with them while gone. Despite that, Belford (specifically Robert) has been completely unresponsive and unprofessional throughout the entire process. Promises of schedules and updates were made and never followed through. I had to chase them for even the most basic information. To make things worse, I found a beer can, cigarette butts, and fast food trash left all over the house by their crew—absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. Plumbing materials were left to rot in my yard for weeks. Now I’m being forced to leave the area on orders, and because Belford hasn’t done their job, I’m going to lose money on this property. Avoid this company at all costs. I hope no other family has to deal with what I’ve gone through.

We had major water damage the process started out well then turned into a nightmare. We’ve waited over four months for things to be done and repairs to start and get every excuse why it hasn’t started. Every time they’d say they were coming we moved important Doctor-Specialist appointments to make ourselves available for them, then day of or etc they cancel and give us a different day to do it all over again. After well over 4 plus months we are told they aren’t doing any further work or repairs after they started water dry out-even though things aren’t complete as well as new damage to my home from them. It took them over four plus months to not even attempt to fix anything, mean while we’ve been not able to live in our home. The pictures are to show how house has been left opened for months and still is. I definitely would not recommend this Company at all. Even my neighbors asked what was taking them so long to fix everything. That this shouldn’t have taken more then a few weeks, even my adjuster stated this was going way longer then it should have been. That these kind of jobs shouldn’t have taken longer then a month max. Adjuster was fast getting things approved to move forward and this Company just continued to delay things. They knew we were stuck in a hotel with pets as well as Disabled. This is extremely saddening they’d do this to a Veteran and his Family. We are both on special diets due to medical and with out a place to cook or store food we were stuck ordering food daily or stuck with Hotel restaurant food. This is heartbreaking-sickening that a Company would do this to a Family and make it were they can’t be in there home. Then taking more then 4 plus months to state you aren’t finishing the job and make us try to find another Company that can fix the messes you made as well as complete your job. I wish this Company had never been to my home and disrupted our lives like they have. Water damage was heartbreaking enough then you put us through all of this is wrong in so many ways.

After surveying the rebuilding and restoration of our medical building (from a car impact), we want to thank you all at Belfor for your efforts. Inside and out, ceiling to floor, the building looks great. Your staff has been so caring and appreciative that this site is an active, busy medical facility with numerous stations for patient care. No sooner than fire and safety had left, you all responded within hours (if that) to clean up and board up the gaping hole left by a car--so we could secure the building and maintain interior climate control as summer approached. And your efforts to source needed materials that matched the existing structure--from custom windows, bricks, ductwork, electrical fixtures, paint, carpeting, cove base molding, etc. was performed in timely manner. The quality of your work, your respectful attitude and communication accessibility is commendable. We do not hesitate in singing your praises. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about everyone we have worked with at Belfor. We had just gone through a painful kitchen remodel with another company when our hot water heater burst and flooded from our attic. Belfor responded immediately to our insurance claim and had the mitigation crew out within an hour of submitting our claim. The mitigation crew was fantastic and the restoration crew far exceeded every expectation we had. Chris was a perfect project lead who was always responsive and a joy to work with. After a not so great remodel with another company and seeing the stark contrast of how amazing Belfor was I will continue to sing their praises to everyone I know. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for mitigation and restoration!
