We had Improovy fix some drywall and paint our bathrooms and guest room. The whole process was fast - very responsive, quick turnaround, prices were fair and competitive. Everything and everyone was timely. I believe it was about a week between when I filled out the initial inquiry form and when the paint job was done. We’re planning to use them for another project coming up. Highly highly recommend!

We hired Improovy painters in July 2025. They painted my entire condo except for ceiling, baseboards and windows. They did have to coat over green wall and a red bathroom. The painters that came were excellent. Luis and Miguel. They worked hard to complete the work and I’m grateful for that. The problem I have with the estimation that I received was over the phone based on photos and I don’t think that it was fair. I ended up paying a lot more for finishing that needed to be done in order for the entire paint job to look good. We feel that it should have been included in the original quote. Very aggravating!!

Thank you Oscar and team! I needed my living room repainted after years of wear and they did an amazing job! The color I picked came out super even and the room feels brand new again.

We recently used Improovy for interior painting for our condo in Ukrainian Village. Our initial contact was Andy. He was a great listener and helped us understand the scope of work that was needed to complete our vision while staying cognizant of our time constraints and budget. I was trying to have this project completed while my other half was on a work trip so as to not disrupt his day to day and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our project coordinator was Josh and he was SO helpful in clarifying the different levels of sheen and how many coats it would take to get the job done - We had some bold color choices. Cecilios and Greg ultimately were the painters that executed the project. The whole team was communicative, on time and flexible as in some cases I wasn’t sure if I wanted certain colors to be taken all the way to the floor or to certain corners (we were doing a bunch of accent stuff) but Cecil was quick to adjust. They did all of the interior walls of the lower level of our condo (living room, dining room, kitchen) a really tall 20ft stairwell, interior accent beams, and the lips of several door frames that they removed the doors and put back after the project was complete. They were able to do this in 2 days with 3 different color choices for various walls. They left our home clean and in great shape. My only criticism is that they did paint over our electrical panel. We were ultimately able to get it open with a box knife without messing up the paint and I’m happy that the panel itself blends in with the wall but wondering if there could have been a better way of handling that. Overall we are VERY happy and intend on using Improovy for our upstairs rooms soon! Thanks guys for all your help - You’re great! We cant wait to get all the art up on the walls, remove some ugly light fixtures and make our home really come to life!

Avoid Improovy at all costs. We didn’t, but there’s still hope for you! Enjoy our saga. -We got quoted by several painting companies but went with Improovy based on reviews and a quote too good to be true. -Red flag: Improovy doesn’t send someone to your house to inspect the project. They rely on photos from Redfin or what you send them. -We were INCREDIBLY detailed with our salesperson Matt. There would be plaster work in addition to painting—and the plaster work was significant. -Matt quoted us a bid that was low. We actually told him. He tacked on $500 after talking to someone who set him straight, and we thought, "OK, fine—it’s still a great quote." -We went through 3 scopes of work. Every new one left things off. The plaster repair work (a major sticking point with us), the fireplace being painted, etc. -When we finally got the "final" one, Matt said the window casings are included in the baseboards, door/casings section. We said, "Fine." -Improovy will screw you if you can’t point to stuff in writing—even if guaranteed over the phone or in person. -Bad omen: our project coordinator, Eddie, told us that Matt had been let go. -Eddie made it clear leading up to the project that Matt had overpromised, but he’d do right by what we were promised. -We agreed on a start date, but it got pushed back 12 hrs before the job was to start. -When the crew arrived, they were immediately overwhelmed by the project size. -Eddie had of course given them the wrong scope of work. -The crew lost a half day based on their confusion. -Eddie gave them the go-ahead to start the job and begin prepping for the plaster repair. -I work from home and lost half a day of my work. I played project manager throughout. The crew often had no idea how to proceed. -Our Improovy job started on 2/12. We were told it’d be done in 4 days. It ended on 2/19. -Eddie assured us of the paint sheens through email but they were wrong on the work order. They all had to be replaced. -Eddie randomly called us at 8 PM on 2/14 to make sure everything was going smoothly. -The next morning the crew lead said Eddie had told them not to do the window casings. Eddie knew when he was on the phone with us. I lost another half day arguing with Eddie and Matt as they lied to me. -Matt called us to ask for more money for the job. A bold move three days into the job. We thought it could’ve been a scam because he was being phased out. Made us super uneasy. -We were constantly on edge about what they would try to trim from the job as a way of making up for their own mistakes. -One of the owners of the company—this guy Daniel—visited unannounced to see the progress and scope. He did this more than once (totally unannounced). -I asked Daniel point blank if he was going to trim anything else from the job or charge us more money for something. He said, "No" and shook my hand. True story. -The next day, we were bullied into paying $300 for a repair that was far less of a repair than several others that had been done at no charge. -Improovy pushed the crew to finish the last rooms incredibly fast. You can tell. -Eddie told me he didn’t think we were going to pay the remaining balance—something we had never indicated. -He asked if he could put a hold on our credit card. I said, "Absolutely not" (I recorded this call). They did anyway (by order of CEO). -They threatened to put a lien on the house if we didn’t pay—which, again, we had never indicated. Ridiculous. -The crew damaged a piece of furniture, and Improovy ghosted us about the touch-ups. -There are necessary touch-ups (paint on the floor beneath the radiators; TONS of pinholing; single coats of paint on walls; not painting a bedroom door; just shoddy work near the ceiling in each of the bedrooms). -We knew touch-ups would never happen (though they're guaranteed in writing on the work order). But we wanted proof we were in touch and they ghosted. Which they did of course. We're geniuses. All in all, it was a terrible experience that ruined a potentially fun investment in our first home together! Way to go, Improovy!

Update: Thank you to Carr and team for coming back and fixing every single issue! The team did a great job and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the updates. Still finding issues over a year later and are not happy to have received the landlord special at a premium price. This was our first time hiring painters and was a full ceiling and walls repaint for a 2 bed 2 bath condo. Some walls were beautiful, others like both bathrooms had coverage issues and now have to be repainted. The job took about half the expected time which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s clear that they were rushed (perhaps they had a bigger job come up) and cut corners. The crew came back for a full day of touchups after the service but had already let a significant amount of drips dry on our floors, doors, outlet covers and baseboards. We’ve spent hours scraping drips off tile floors, cabinets, and toilets with a credit card and are continuously finding new spots that were missed in touchups. Now that we are more informed on the standard to expect we will go elsewhere for future services. Stars for the few rooms that were perfect and for the front office that was helpful and didn’t buy the crew’s attempt to charge us for a third coat of paint that was not applied.

I recently had my new house painted by Improovy Painters, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Carr, the project manager, did an excellent job coordinating everything. From start to finish, Carr ensured that the process was smooth and efficient. Jose, the painter, was outstanding. His attention to detail and skill transformed my house into a stunning home. The quality of the work is top-notch, and I am thrilled with how everything turned out. I found Improovy Painters through a recommendation from ChatGPT, and I'm so glad I did. Their service exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely use them again for any future painting needs. Highly recommended!
