BELFOR Property Restoration

A water leak from my dishwasher caused flooding on be my wood floor in the kitchen and my downstairs ceiling and carpet. My USAA insurance assigned BELFOR Restoration team who completed restoration replacing an 8 ft by 27 ft portion of my ceiling and damaged post also replaced carpet pad and resealed carpet to where no seams showed. Awesome work completed in a timely manner. The kitchen hard wood floor was sanded and resealed with a water based sealant designed to be odor free due to accommodate my wife's need to be on oxygen 24/7 and cannot have oil based odors. The floor looks awesome; note the team that sanded and restored the kitchen floor hung plastic sealing off the entire kitchen to protect my wife's health issue. Zach Johnson from BELFOR was my single point of contact who kept me informed as each the restoration teams were assigned and completed their specific element of damage. Zach was on hand to insure we were totally satisfied with the restoration. My 49 year trust in USAA has truly met every expectation. Again THANK You BELFOR team our house feels whole once again!!

Horrible. We had a pipe leak in our powder room on September 26. The remediation crew came out immediately and even helped with a plumber. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. It is December 1, and our powder room is still in shambles, and my son still isn't able to use his closet. I was assured in October that our powder room would be completed by Thanksgiving, no problem. After they gutted everything, we didn't hear from anyone for over 2 weeks. I had to reach out and figure out what was going on. Then they just started sending people to our home. No heads up, no scheduling, no call, nothing. I never knew what the next step was. We were told their tile guy had a death in the family so that was another week delay, except they had a tile guy the entire time. The backup tile guy is who eventually did our tile work. I explicitly told them we had to have the work completed before Thanksgiving because we were going out of the country for December. Now our powder room won't be completed until January (hopefully). 3 months for a 5x5 powder room that should have taken three weeks, tops.

We had an unfortunate leak coming from our upstairs laundry room. The floor had rotted out and there was mold growing. Zach and his team located the source and were very communicative on the process and time frame. If not for this happening during the hurricanes and backing up insurance claims, they would have been in and out. After the insurance was figured out, his team came in and completed the work in about 4 days time. I’m so happy with the repairs and customer service. Kim at the office is very helpful and they will work with you on any concerns you have. Zach stayed in contact with the insurance and always contacted me to let me know where we were in the process. Very nice people and I would use them again if another problem arises.

I am so pleased with the service I received from Belfor. Zach made sure I knew what to expect from each part of the process. Adam and Richard were so intentional in how they worked on my restoration project, and they both took time to understand what was important to me to ensure I would be happy. They were thoughtful and kind in their approach. While I never again want to have to go through a situation like what put me in their path, I highly recommend Belfor and would use their service again.

I have had the pleasure of working with Zach at my property after a fire. He always has answers to the questions I have, he has been very thorough in keeping me updated via phone calls and emails daily as the work progresses.

My house had a flood in the basement and this was the company State Farm sent out. My bf and son had already cleaned up all the water, they just assessed damage and sprayed their cleaner all through the basement. Before they could do a tear out, they tested for asbestos, and of course my walls came back positive. They don't deal with asbestos, therefore I had to continue the process with a different company. That^^ almost $1600, for just that, way overpriced! And their office lady will call and harass you, eventhough you are still waiting for your insurance company to cut the check, then threaten to put a lien on your house if not paid right away. She should not work with people. Rude and unprofessional. If I could give this company negative stars I would. Go anywhere else!
