Solid Restoration

Mike, with Solid Restoration was a true blessing during the water leak in our family home. He is the prime example you and your family would prefer to mitigate while going through uncontrollable circumstances. His work ethic, punctuality, communication was beyond expected. Thank you Mike, may you truly be noticed and receive the many blessings you and your family deserve.

Solid Restoration came highly recommended, and we are pleased to recommend their services as well. Their crews responded quickly to mitigate the flood damage and completed the necessary repairs in a timely and professional manner. As school employees, we especially appreciated their flexibility in working around our schedule and finishing the work before the end of Spring Break. Many thanks to Will, Mike, Sam, and the entire team involved!

Not sure what I did to offend this company, but the level of communication and professionalism is near non-existent. I did receive a prompt reply when I initially reached out to provide details of my problem. I also had the first tech come out at the time we agreed upon, but after that is when everything went down. Dom, the tech, came out on 4/11 to review the damages after I spoke with Will and Mike earlier that week. After the initial consult, Dom said that he would follow up with Will and Mike back at the main site and reach out to me on potential next steps. Dom also said he would reach out to the contractor, Sam, and have him reach out to me. Sam never reached out so on 4/16, I texted Dom asking if there was any news he had for me. Dom never messaged back or called, however, Sam called me on 4/17 and we agreed that he would come out to the house on 4/18 sometime between 3-4pm to come look over everything. He never showed and has not reached back out to me since. I spoke with Mike on 4/18 and he said he would come out on 4/21 to assess the damages some time between 10-11. By 1050, he still had not shown up so I called him and found out he was at another call in Decatur. He said he would be by at noon today. It is now nearly 3 pm and I still have yet to hear back from anyone at this company. On the flip side, another company I had called for a quote, MVP Restoration, came out to give a quote and their service level was beyond what I experienced with Solid Restoration. They explored not just the area I designated, but other rooms and the crawlspace. They talked me through their findings and what options I had for next steps.

Solid Restoration is a great company to work with. They came into my life via State Farm when a vehicle parked in my master bedroom February 24, 2024. From the initial meeting I knew I wanted to work with them to get through the claims process. Zack explained how the process would work from start to finish. This is my first big claim, and I was very overwhelmed with the insurance process. He also let me know that they had the tools in place to help with everything. Not just the rebuilding, but sorting out damaged contents, packing out the house, etc. Once I met with my project manager Sam, I was 100% on board. Sam was patient, professional and communicative throughout the process. I was able to focus on my family and the changes that came with moving out of my home temporarily. Everyone on the team was great to work with and they basically held my hand with the insurance company. They made sure that I received all the assistance needed. There were some delays along the way but Will (GM) communicated with me. He provided me with timelines and what they were planning to do to make sure the original schedule was met. I was encouraged to check on the progress and bring all issues to their attention. I was never made to feel like I was being overbearing or hyper critical. He met with me several times to go over the budget, progress and expectations. The quality of the work is excellent. Anytime I had questions or wanted to make a change Sam and Will (GM) were available. They explained the pros and cons of any change/choice I was making. They were able to upgrade certain materials while staying on budget. They also took care of small projects that I had been putting off. We moved back November 1st to our home put back together. There was one small issue when it rained that weekend, but Sam came out within 2 hours on a Sunday to get the window sealed up and ensure there were no other problems. It was an issue that no one would have anticipated. I was very happy with how the issue was handled. Overall, my experience has been great, I will definitely use Solid Restoration for any future construction needs.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I must for Solid Restoration. My son has a one bedroom house on my property and a pipe broke in the crawl space and I panicked. The plumber said the meter was running 7 gallons a minute. I called the insurance company and they sent out Mike Garcia from Solid Restoration to handle the mitigation. Having dealt with mitigation people in the past ( where they come in and start ripping out everything & telling you what you HAVE to do) I was skeptical. However I cannot say enough about Mike and how professionally he handled everything. He was respectful of my property, cleaned up, explained everything and dealt with the insurance company. I would highly recommend this company. The water really messed up the hardwood flooring.

10/10 would recommend Solid Restoration! Our contractor, Sam, was knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely patient! Jose and Dom were top notch and incredible to work with! Having your entire home disrupted is never pleasant but these guys made it as smooth as it possibly could have been.

They did a great job! We had two areas in our ceilings that had major damage and they came in and took care of it in two days! Very quick and high quality! There is one place that they need to fix and they are coming back to take care of it! The work team was great!
