Rapid Dry

On July 25th, we woke up to a flooded kitchen, dining room and basement. We had started the dishwasher before going to bed the night before and it had apparently malfunctioned. It was pouring water out the bottom of the machine. We called our insurance agent who recommended Matt with Rapid Dry. Even though I called him early in the morning, he quickly responded and we set up a game plan. He came out to inspect the damage and take moisture readings for insurance. He also set up huge fans and dehumidifiers to help with moisture in the walls and floors, trying to mitigate the damage to our home. After a few days, his team came in to tear out all of the damage. He was continuously reaching out to make sure we were doing okay and he explained every step of the process to us. He gave us recommendations for contents companies who would pack up all of our personal belongings in the damaged rooms and store them and for contractors for the rebuild. He also met with the insurance adjuster and worked with him to make sure that process went smoothly. I can't give Matt and his team enough praise. He held my hand throughout the whole process and made sure I knew what to expect. He was very professional and attentive, despite having multiple projects going on due to extensive rain and flooding across the city. We live in Raymore, but I'm sure they service the only KC Metro. I would highly recommend Rapid Dry if you find yourself in a similar situation.

We recently had an excellent experience with Rapid Dry regarding our sunroom. After a heavy rain, we discovered that the walls and carpet were badly soaked. We reached out to Rapid Dry, and Matt promptly came to assess the situation. He was fantastic—explaining the entire process clearly and addressing all our questions. Matt and his team quickly got to work, removing the sheetrock, carpet, and padding. Unfortunately, they found mold, which required remediation. They sealed off the room to ensure our safety during the process. After remediation, they set up dehumidifiers and floor dryers to prevent further issues. Matt even returned to meet with the claims adjuster, walking him through the findings and potential causes of the water infiltration. His efforts helped us get our previously denied claim approved. I'm very thankful for Rapid Dry! If they hadn't come out on the weekend with their industrial dehumidifier. We would have lost so much more stuff in our basement. Rapid Dry's response to our basement flooding was extremely prompt and professional. Matt did a great job of explaining the sequence of events to expect and timing of all the work remediation. We had a significant flood in our basement early Thursday morning. Matt responded at 4:30am and didn't leave until about 11am. He was extremely professional, did a fantastic job helping to remove as much water as possible & all for a fair price. I highly recommend Rapid Dry KC!!

Our refrigerator went out and water covered the wood floors in our kitchen while we were on vacation. We were afraid that we would have to rip out part of our floors and replace the wood. It sounded like a huge hassle, until I talked to my insurance agent about the problem. He recommended Matt at Rapid Dry and he was at my house the same day to evaluate the damage. The system he used removed all the moisture from my wood floors, and allowed them to lay back down and un-buckle. It took about a week, but when it was done the floors were back to normal. They did a great job with the repairs, and were at my house about every other day to adjust the drying system. In the end, for our situation, the repair costs were about the same as the home insurance deductible. We are very pleased with the results! We recommended Rapid Dry for your water damage issues!

We called on Friday morning and Matt and team were here in a few hours, setting up equipment to start drying soon after they arrived. The crew came back on a Saturday and Sunday to remove some damaged areas and then returned on Tuesday to remove the equipment after humidity levels had returned to normal. Matt was very good about explaining options, providing advice, and collaborating after we reached a decision. He offered to connect me with other subs if I wanted to get other work done, understood the Insurance Business well, so really became a trusted partner in the process. The crew was friendly, experienced, neat, and smart. They arrived when they said they would and even though they were quick and efficient, they didn’t rush.
