When our rental home burnt down a few years ago, it was one of the worst things that happened to us. The garage was completely burnt down and the main house sustained substantial smoke and fire damage. Needless to say, we needed to do a substantial clean up and restoration to the property. I checked and interviewed about a dozen contractors and Steffen and Pacific Restoration and remediation stood out. Their communication was excellent, the price was fair and the team easy to work with. They were set up with the latest contractor portal so selection of parts, fixtures and equipment and approvals were easy. Their project manager Ashley was outstanding and efficient. Steffen was amazing to work with. His attention to detail was great and he personally was very involved with the design and gave numerous suggestions to improve the layout. His team was adept with helping with the insurance reviews, sub-contractor selection, city and county permit filings, inspections and overview. The only cons were that a few of the sub-contractors turned out to be unprofessional but Steffen was quick to remedy the situation and replace them. The project also took longer than expected because it was in unincorporated King county with a different permitting process and a few other unexpected issues which are to be expected in a large construction project. Post construction, the inspection went smoothly and had surprisingly few issues to address. The home was so beautiful once it was complete, that there was a bidding war to rent it. A year later, we had a few issues cropping up like an AC system malfunction and a leaking sink. Steffens team responded promptly and fixed them. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company for their reliable and professional work ethic. Over the past few years, Steffen has become more of a friend to our family and we are very grateful we got the chance to work with him and his team.

Superb. Pacific Remediation really saved my basement. I originally had another company do a mold remediation and they didn't complete the job after they didn't pass the test. I called James and Hanley and within a week, they were at my place cleaning up the mess and doing a stellar job. Passed mold inspection with flying colors. Not only were they friendly, they were fast, efficient and really stand by their work.

We used Pacific to remediate a leak in our bathroom and to do the whole remodel. Would totally recommend. These guys are the best contractors I have ever worked with and we are so happy with the finished result. Although I’m glad to have a beautiful bathroom, I’m sad to finish working with them.

James and his team are excellent. My wife and I just bought a house and our master shower drain was completely disconnected. This dumped water into our kitchen ceiling and walls. The first company that came to look at my water damage in my kitchen took one look and said the whole thing had to be gutted. So I called Pacific Remediation and Restoration at the request of my agent. James came out, started assessing the water damage, asking me questions, and explaining how the whole process works and why they need to use certain tools, etc. Very informative! He also let me know that a salvaging of the kitchen was possible, but that he'd try everything he could first to dry it all out with minimum damage. Well that's exactly what happened, Pacific Remediation was able to get it all cleaned up in a timely and professional manner, with only dry wall tear out and some cosmetic damage to the kitchen. Super honest company, fantastic quote. My suggestion: don't waste your time with any other water damage repair shop.

Left me without running water in kitchen for days... then left my apartment a construcion site. They told me the process would be 4 hours, then turned into days/weeks. If I knew my apartment would turn into this I would have never started this process until after holidays. No communication whatsoever.
