Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Andrew #3247...arrived on time..was professional & respectful of our property...he even said hi to our 115 pound Rottweiler(bonus points for that). He diagnosed the problem, gave us the estimate & went right to work. He fixed the issue & cleaned up after the job was completed. Rotor Rooter is lucky to have such an attentive, professional employee!!! A job well done!!

I'd give Roto-Rooter 5 stars, but it was the exorbitant pricing that made it a 4-star review. I think there should be a base and then perhaps a charge applied for the amount of work performed....maybe based on time and difficulty. I had my kitchen drain rodded. Yes, there was blockage, but it took barely any time at all, and Roto-Rooter was in and out. I appreciated the repair, don't get me wrong, but $500 for a quick, minor repair was over-the-top, in my opinion. I will probably call Roto-Rooter again, but not for this issue.

Technician very throughout. Reviewed site/situation and provided an estimated quote to resolve before solving issue. Remained onsite until he was satisfied with the drain being cleared and wastewater flowing.

Had a great experience with Roto-Rooter. They were able to schedule a same day appointment on Sunday evening. The service plumber - ERVIS - was very professional and provided explanations for what he was doing and what would be needed if the approach didn't work and it happened to be a bigger job. He also provided future easy self-maintenance tips. Overall great experience

Ticket #: 27152245 The service was good, Nertil got the job done. However, for 30 - 45 minutes of work to use an electric auger to snake our main line in the basement and get charged $720 is just absurd. Maybe there was an extra fee for Saturdays, but we’ve had emergency maintenance in the city of Chicago up a 3rd floor walk up condo with the same equipment for less than $650. We weren’t even able to use our $15 discount. Won’t be using nor recommending this company again if this is what they charge for simple tasks. I am totally on board with paying people for their labor and work, but this was asinine. If the company reaches out with a reasonable explanation as to why it cost so much, or to rectify this, I’ll change this to a favorable review.

Andrew was extremely helpful and came out late on a Sunday night. He was determined to unclog our sewerage pipe and after the third attempt and changing the snake head, he finally did it. Commitment to the job - very appreciated!

Worst experience with Roto Rooter firstly the field inspector Dan Pollworth who came and gave an estimate that was all upselling and stated some services will be covered in the estimate but got to know later that was all lies and were extra costs. He then later ignored my calls and never spoke to us. Their technicians don’t know how to install their equipment which blew my fuse at home and nearly burnt down the house. I would not recommend this company to anyone even if you have an emergency go find some one else.
