I had the absolute worst experience with this company and would highly recommend anyone to do their research before hiring them. Back in March, an outdoor pipe burst and flooded our kitchen, dining room, and guest bathroom. Our insurance sent ATI Restoration for mitigation, and that part of the process went smoothly — fast and efficient. Based on that, we decided to continue with ATI for the full home repairs. Unfortunately, that decision led to months of frustration, poor communication, and even poorer quality of work. It took over 6 weeks for any repair work to begin, leaving us living on damaged and exposed flooring with little to no communication from the team. We were given one flooring option in 3 different colors, and told our original flooring had been discontinued — which was untrue. The flooring company that originally put in our floor explained to us that our original floor was discontinued in May, but there was other options and colors that would have sufficed. The replacement that they chose was thinner, cheaper (less than $2/sq ft compared to our original $4.50/sq ft), and installed poorly. Gaps were left under door frames and filled with caulk, and the overall finish looked rushed and unprofessional. Especially, since they rushed to complete the entire project in 1 day. They also did not tape the walls or new floor, when they repainted the baseboards, leaving paint all over both. Things only improved after I personally reached out to Sam (who was not involved in our project but had great reviews). So thank you Sam, you deserve all the 5 stars. Unfortunately, the rest of your company does not. He helped escalate the situation, and we finally had a meeting with ATI leadership. Initially, they tried to blame us for choosing the poor-quality flooring, despite only being given one option. Eventually, they agreed to replace it with better material that my husband and I selected ourselves — and while the second installation was higher quality, issues continued: wrong transition pieces, poor cuts, and even gluing parts to our rock fireplace. After over four months, our home was finally restored — minus one badly cut transition piece we now will need to hire someone else to fix. Overall, I can’t recommend ATI for repairs. While their mitigation work was solid, the construction and customer service were extremely disappointing: poor craftsmanship, constant delays, lack of communication, and minimal accountability. I trusted a company that prided themselves on restoring our home, and unfortunately they did the opposite of that. Please do your research before hiring them — I wish we had trusted our gut and gone with another company. The last photo of the transition piece is how they left our home, is what they said "the best they could do".

I had an amazing experience with the crew, especially Tamika. We recently experienced water damage to our floor, and unfortunately, it affected our china cabinet, making it non-salvageable. From the moment Tamika arrived, she put my mind at ease, assuring me that all of our items would be handled with the utmost care. Tamika packed everything with such precision and attention to detail, and when it came time to unpack, she did it just as carefully. She treated every item like it was her own, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her professionalism and care throughout the process. I can’t thank Tamika enough for her dedication and expertise. She truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her and the entire team for any mitigation, moving or packing needs.

So happy with ATI! Our kitchen island was damaged and it had to be removed. I thought we would be without a sink for weeks. The next day they called and brought a free-standing stainless steel sink so we could wash dishes and prepare meals. Thanks to David Andrews for doing this for us. Excited about our new cabinets and granite countertops which are being replaced.

Didn’t show up to the job for 18 weeks & I had to track them down to find out if any work was going to be done. The project manager Tommy W. didn’t return calls or emails & we had to fire them. Get anyone else that will show up & actually work on your project.

My experience with ATI Restoration began with water damage that occurred on May 20, 2025. The initial mitigation team was professional and efficient—that part of the process went smoothly. However, everything after that was deeply disappointing. Once the mitigation phase ended, communication became a nightmare. I had to chase ATI down just to get a work authorization form—something they should have proactively provided. Multiple calls to both my insurance adjuster and ATI’s home office were necessary just to receive basic paperwork. Even then, they claimed it had been sent, but I didn’t receive it until I followed up again. When it was finally time for repairs, a representative named Mark came out, completed a walkthrough July 17,2025 and discussed flooring options. I made it clear If I had the option I didn’t want carpet put back in. Mark said that was fine and quoted me an upcharge between $600–$800, which was puzzling because the LVP flooring I selected with the square footage included cost less than the amount already allocated in the estimate. Getting clarity on the numbers was exhausting—I had to track down their staff (specifically Celeste) for every update. The communication and professionalism were unorganized, dismissive, and extremely frustrating. When the repairs started July 21,2025. I was surprised to see a group of four to five unfamiliar men—subcontractors—show up at my home. I was never informed that ATI would be outsourcing the work. I hired ATI under the impression that their own team would be completing the job. If I had known it would be subcontracted out, I could have hired someone myself! Even worse, the behavior of the workers was unacceptable. One of them was found lying down asleep on the floor of my master bedroom during work hours. When I confronted him, he apologized and closed the door—only for me to find him still laying there when I returned. The quality of the repair work itself was poor. The ceiling, which was supposed to be replaced due to heavily soiled insulation, was done in visible patches instead with many stains shuffled throughout. The drywall is still cracking and uneven, and they applied materials sloppily over electrical outlets rather than removing covers properly. Basic professionalism was completely absent. Despite my generosity in offering them use of two guest bathrooms, they left urine stains in my master bathroom—completely unacceptable and disrespectful behavior in someone else’s home. After everything, I informed my insurance adjuster that I no longer felt comfortable working with ATI due to their unprofessional conduct, corner-cutting, and lack of communication. When they came to retrieve their equipment, Mark brought along the same worker who had previously been asleep in my bedroom and instead of allowing the subcontractor to apologize he cut him off and stated "oh no don’t worry about it" to the random men he left to do an unsupervised job that didn’t go well. To anyone considering ATI Restoration: if you must use them, keep detailed records, have your own inspector, and supervise everything! Otherwise, I strongly recommend finding another contractor. Trust and professionalism are vital when your home is being repaired—this company failed on both fronts.
