Elements of Restoration

I contacted this company because of water leak damage due to a washing machine failure. They answered and seemed eager to help. We scheduled an appointment and they met with my wife to review the damage. They supplied a quote and worked with us to schedule the mitigation work. They said "we'll handle everything" from helping with the insurance claim to finishing up all repairs. They supplied workers who performed great work. I was impressed with their speed and quality of work. Great job with the flooring and wall painting in the laundry room on my second floor. Some things did not go well though. My contact did not do a good job of scheduling the work with us at all. I tried contacting him on several occasions and was unable to reach him. One Saturday, workers were sent to my house as I was preparing to leave with my family for an event and I had to cancel plans to accommodate the working crew. They didn't provide the best clean up as sheet rock dust was left on counters, tables, appliances and floors. I was also being charged on the final invoice for things that were not executed on the quote. In the end, it seemed my contact just wanted to be done with us and did whatever it took to not have to engage with us any further. I don't know if he was just busy with a larger project and didn't have time, but if I'm paying for a service, I expect clear and effective communication. After this experience, I would not recommend this company. I looked at their website and it says they're A+ BBB rated. On the BBB website, it says they are not accredited. In summary, they're eager in the beginning. But once they get you locked in, it will be a hassle and inconvenient.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Elements of Restoration has been a nightmare. After a water damage incident, their representative, Lyn Cook, misrepresented himself as their COO and promised to handle both mitigation and rebuild. We trusted him and paid over $44,000, only to find out later that he wasn’t even authorized to do rebuilds for this company. The project has been plagued with delays, incomplete work, and poor communication. We’ve been left with torn-up floors, unfinished bathrooms, missing sinks, and months of excuses. When we contacted the owner, Casey Meeks, he claimed the company wasn’t responsible, despite us being directed to write checks to Lyn’s LLC—something we would have never done if we knew the truth. We are now pursuing legal action because of their negligence and refusal to make things right. Please save yourself the stress, financial loss, and heartache—stay far away from this company.

This company was amazing, beginning to end. Lyn was so quick to respond to any of my calls.texts, and coached me through the insurance process from his end. Then when it came to restoring our kitchen, his team did above-and-beyond work, right down to thoroughly cleaning up after themselves everyday they were at our house. My only regret was not using them for our countertops. We're happy with the end result of the counters and installation , but the crew's work ethic was significantly inferior...including lots of cleanup after they left. You won't make a bad choice with this company!

When my mother's water heater burst, they came and stripped the room. They took all of the insulation, paneling, switch plates, air vents and accidentally cut the land line phone wire. She was without her phone for over 2 months. They took things that had no water damage!! They took the insurance money which was based on the amount of haul off and told her they would be back to fix things went the rebuild check came. Clearly they took advantage of an 87 year old widow!

This company is a ripoff. Don’t use them for anything. They don’t do what they promised to do and do not stand behind their promises or their work. Our flooring is literally coming apart. We have been very patient with them and tried to work with their schedule. Now we can’t even get a response from them. I do not recommend them for any reason. Charles Calkins

These guys were exceptional! When my grandparents’ house flooded, they were dealing with extensive water damage. The team was incredibly professional, responding quickly and working diligently to restore the home. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for anyone in need of top-notch services!

Elements of Restoration is AMAZING! Their response time was immediate. All of their team members conducted themselves in the utmost of professional behavior. They were kind. They allowed me to contact them at any hour with any concern. If I asked them to jump, they leaped beyond my expectations. They were patient. When the time came to wind down they did so quickly so as not to run up extra charges like a lot of other companies do. Lyn, the owner, has treated me like family from day one. I could not suggest this company more. Lyn’s team was also very easily able to navigate the insurance business which can be VERY overwhelming in a disaster situation.
