The project lead Conner was so incredibly thorough and helpful the ENTIRE process. He got everything done in a timely manner and took care of us for the entire rollercoaster of a ride with insurance and abatement. Really awesome company as a whole. After water damage ruined my parent's kitchen and bathroom in their townhome, SERVPRO was sent out to assess and repair this situation. This journey started 02/08/2024 and was finally rectified and put to bed on 02/13/2025. This, however, was not due to lack of assistance from SERVPRO. In fact, I had stepped in to assist my parents as my mother has dementia and is housebound (in the past she was always the one to complete any and all financial/insurance/bookwork items but due to the dementia she is unable). As the repairs continued, a board member of the HOA immediately told my dad the HOA or their property insurance is in no way monetarily responsible for any of the damage sustained to the townhome due to the water damage. Thank goodness Craig Zieman (SERVPRO Project Manager) and I had a chat as he informed me to look at the HOA governing documents and HOA insurance policy. The board member who so quickly denied any monetary contributions from the HOA was wrong. I went back and forth with the HOA for (literally) months asking them to submit a claim to HOA insurance as my parents’ claim had been paid (the first $20,000.00) and the remainder was supposed to be paid by the HOA insurance company. While this was going on there was a balance left to be paid, and I had the pleasure of working with Shanda Daluge in Accounts Receivable at SERVPRO, on this. Shanda was very very patient with the situation at hand. She was exceedingly kind and understanding as well as Craig Zieman. They certainly could have pushed the issue and forced my parents to pay this out of pocket, however, they both worked with me and held steady until the HOA finally paid the reminder due! Because of Shanda & Craig I will forever have the utmost confidence and respect in SERVPRO and the hard working, caring staff they employ. A sincere thank you to both Shanda and Craig who took the time to listen, assist, and guide my parents and I through a long, difficult and frustrating situation. Without your help this situation could have ended very differently. Please give both Shanda Daluge and Craig Zieman recognition for a job well done! ServPro Team Hickman is top notch! Great community connection! Outstanding customer service! Very detailed in their work and follow up! Bo Nelson and this groups commitment to support First Responders (Many of them are local Firefighters ) is nothing short then amazing and generous. Team Hickman sponsors the Wright County Frontline Outreach annual Golf Tournament and is always reaching out to offer support then they hear of people in need. I could go on and on!
