The condensation pipe to our furnace worked its way loose (very poor design) inside our mechanical closet in the garage. We didn't notice the leak until water made its way outside of the closet. The wooden platform that the furnace sits on was completely soaked and mold was starting to develop. We had an estimator out within a couple of days. This was critical, because my husband has a serious health condition that was declining. Managing a repair project on top of his daily care was not something I needed. I mentioned that I was able to self pay to get things moving but I would most likely submit a claim to Progressive Insurance once I received the estimate. I did not want to waste time in getting started. Nothing was mentioned about checking to see which insurance companies PD accepted and since Progressive is a larger insurer I didn't think there'd be a problem. I did not find out that they don't deal with Progressive directly until the project was completed. They did help submit the documentation Progressive needed (photos, report) after my agent asked them to do so. I was very fortunate in having Dominic assigned to my project for remediation and restoration. Extremely professional and he took the time to understand my home situation, was empathetic, (as their national commercials claim) and reassured me that he would take the utmost care in correcting the situation. He explained each step in clear, easy to understand detail and delivered on everything he promised. At the end of each day, the garage was cleaned up and swept. You'd never know work was being done. He epitomizes the level of service Paul Davis claims to provide. Dominic is the one who earned the 5 star rating for Paul Davis-Santa Fe.

Company is non-responsive. They either don't want the business or lack the resources or professionalism. We contacted them two different times for two different homes we own in the area. The first time, they came out, promised an estimate, and then never delivered. We never heard back from them. At another property, several months later we had an emergency damage that required immediate care. Once again, they came out, and this time provided an estimate. The work was for over $20,000. When I asked when they could begin to work, they gave a vague answer. I attempted to communicate over the next week or so and then they never followed up or communicated again about performing the work. Waste of time! We own several homes in Taos, so it's a shame that they don't have their act together.

The workers from Paul Davis Restoration did very high quality work, showed care and consideration to us, cleaned up their mess, and were easy to work with. I'm definitely a happy customer.

I dont usually review a company unless I had a bad experience, but I had to give Paul Davis 5 stars. They are really the best in the business. My friend has had to deal with another franchise (yellow/blue one). They ran in and out, they didn't address her furniture or any contents in her house. They didn't talk her through the process at all. I would recommend Paul Davis to everyone.

Scheduled an appointment for duct cleaning. Gave Paul Davis window of days in which work needed to be completed. They scheduled the job for the last day in my window. Job was cancelled the night before. Was told their subcontractor overbooked. At no time prior was I told the job was going to a subcontractor. Talked with company rep who was extremely rude and made no attempt to rectify situation by rescheduling or trying another subcontractor. I get mistakes happen, but how you handle mistakes defines a business. Spoke with general manager who did his very best to find replacement company. I would consider using again based on his responsiveness
