We had an excellent experience working with S&J Builders and owner Sean Wilson. We needed a channel drain put in on our side yard to keep water from setting and becoming stagnant. The job was done quickly and was very effective. The crew especially Keith kept us abreast of what they were doing and why they we doing it. Heather in the office gave us a quick call or text to inform us of when and who would be there each day, It is very comforting to have such great communication when a home improvement project is being performed on your home. We would definitely recommend them.

After a water leak at a vacation property, we decided to have S&J do the work and also change the flooring from carpeting to vinyl. We were happy with the initial consult with S&J but were let down with the execution. After replacing the flooring, there was a huge gap between the vinyl and baseboards that the carpet used to fill. They wanted extra money to make adjustments and fill that gap. It looked awful and is something that any contractor should have anticipated. Even worse, we allowed the employees to use the bathrooms in the house (to save money on a Port-a-Potty), and they filled the toilets without flushing (seen on a walk-through). Once they finished the job, we were having plumbing issues. When we addressed this with the management, they said "prove it with a note from a plumber." The plumber came out and found the foam from a paint roller that had been flushed by the employees! Their response: sorry about that.

We dealt with a lot of their people - from administrative to project manager to electricians to painters, etc. We had multiple projects going on in various areas and rooms of our home - garage, ceilings, cabinet re-works/repair, etc. Every person that we dealt with was very professional, punctual, and courteous. Eric was our primary contact for all of the projects and was very easy and friendly to deal with and handled all of our questions in a timely manner. We have more projects to work on in the future and will be using them again and will happily refer them to anyone else.

We had a leak in our bathroom between the walls; called three different contractors to get estimates and decided on S & J Builders. It was certainly the right choice for us. Everyone from Danita Drake-Office Manager, Kurtis Brown-Estimator, Heather Collins- Production Coordinator, Eric Reynolds, Keith Douthet-Project Manager, Jonathan-Prep Work, Frank-Tile Setter were all efficient and customer friendly. They went over their schedule, the estimate, the payment plan, met each appointment on time. They ensured that the area was clean before they left for the day. We are extremely pleased with their professionalism, our beautiful bathroom and would not hesitate to recommend them for any remodels. . .in fact, we already have.

We’ve used S&J Builders on several jobs between our home and rental property and they are always on schedule, they have well written and very detailed contracts and their communication is exceptional from start to finish. They do excellent quality work and they have a tight knit crew of sub-contractors they work with. We highly recommend Sean, Kurtis and the rest of the team.

We found working with the personnel from S&J to be very professional and courteous.. We were informed on a daily bases on the work to be accomplished each day. The communication that took place was very through. Questions were answered in a timely manner and any problems were resolved quickly. We feel that we would not hesitate in working with them on future projects and will recommend they to any one who would need their services. S&J were extremely professional and very communicative. Frank, the contractor who did our repair was kind, helpful and thorough. He was even okay with my teenagers being home on spring break while he worked. The repairs were done in a very timely manner. Thomas and the rest of the staff were very helpful and professional. We are pleased not only with the work but the integrity in which it was done.
