A Peace Of Mind Used Appliances

We had a great experience at this store. The sales person was so nice and helpful. We got a washer and dryer and it was installed the next day. We did end up needing to use the 90 day warranty. They hauled away the washer, fixed the issue, and returned it in 2 days. All for free! While we were shopping, I mentioned needing a new drawer for our refrigerator and she told me they keep a ton of parts at the store and probably have the drawers I am looking for. I brought the drawers in later that week and we were lucky enough to find a replacement! We love our new (to us) washer, dryer, and refrigerator drawers!

We had bought a washer and dryer set for a cheap $80 on Facebook marketplace and I found out what happens when you lean a top load washer on its back towed in a car (which, it apparently breaks the internal supports and put undue pressure on the bearing) and then we made another mistake of putting a very heavy wet towel in it in a compromised washer and ended up breaking it further. But we went and found the very well priced front loader washer, which was highly more convenient because of no worries about the same issues with the top loader. They were very helpful in getting us a good deal, helping us load it into our SUV, and it works so much better than our old one!! These guys, obviously do a great job in refurbishing their inventory.

I love this small business! What a community asset. Extremely responsive and helpful owners and staff. High quality appliances with a warranty. We’ve had a refurbished washer for over 10 years. I broke the dryer we bought putting a way too heavy comforter inside and they had a good idea of what was wrong even before coming to my home. The dryer was rapidly fixed for a very affordable price. It’s nice to be able to repair what we already own and have a sustainable option in town.

Exceptional Service and Truly a "Peace of Mind" Experience! I recently had an issue with my Frigidaire oven door not closing properly. Thankfully, I contacted "A Peace of Mind" and decided to bring the door into their store for service. I was immediately impressed by their responsiveness and how quickly they were able to assess the issue. The technician at the store was fantastic. He was professional, courteous, and clearly very knowledgeable about appliance repair. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my oven door, took the time to explain the issue to me in a way I could understand, and efficiently fixed it. What's even better is that the price for the work done was very reasonable and affordable, making the entire experience even more positive. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work done by "A Peace of Mind." My oven door is now working perfectly, and the entire experience was smooth, stress-free, and didn't break the bank. I went into Peace of Mind Appliances in the hope of getting some free advice concerning my "stove situation" and my maintenance man’s diagnosis. I walked in and was immediately greeted and offered assistance. Paul, who ended up being the owner, took a look at my video and pictures and listened to my explanation and the questions I was seeking to get answered. He answered all my questions with terms a non-electrician, like myself, could understand. Come to find out, my maintenance man’s diagnosis was accurate and my next frustration was waiting for the part to come in and maintenance to get back to my place. Paul had the actual part and (I thought) was showing me what it was going to look like. I was mistaken…when I tried to hand it back to him, he said, "Take it, it’s what you need, go get your stove fixed." It was a fairly expensive part, and an extremely generous gift. Not only did I get free maintenance advice, a stove part free of charge, and the elimination of one of the steps towards getting my stove up and running….but with the way the world works these days, it’s hard to come by such thoughtfulness from a stranger. I say all this to remind people that there is goodness in the world, and that’s gotta’ translate to the integrity and reliability of Peace and Mind Appliances.

I just love Peace of Mind Appliance. Paul Reitano, the owner, is very good at what he does. I have bought numerous used appliances from him for both rentals, studio and home. Never had an issue. They still work beautifully. Paul was able to get to a repair of my dryer in 24 hours and fixed it a few weeks ago. His price was so much better than the other company that showed up prior. Becky is also excellent at customer service. This is a locally owned business that deserves our support.

I have a rental property in East Nashville that recently had a dryer go out. Property management was going to charge me over $1,100 to replace the dryer, so I started looking for other options. I stumbled on Peace of Mind Used Appliances online and called the number on the page to see if they could deliver, install, and haul away the old dryer. I spoke with Becky, who was very sweet and helpful, and she reassured me that they do these things all the time for out-of-state owners. It’s a risky thing to trust contractors or vendors without meeting them face to face, but she was very professional and was quick to respond when I had any questions. The delivery went smooth and I could not be more thankful! Name brand (LG) dryer with delivery, install, and haul away for $400! Great deal, great costumer service!!
