Terrible customer service. The manager, Mr. Will, was extremely unhelpful, and I waited an hour just to buy my items. Very disappointing.
I contacted Geek Squad to make an appointment to change out my hard drive. Person no appointment required just stop by. DO NOT tell people something that is not true. Appointments help save me time and guarantee a quick service.
My son had an issue with his laptop and took it to a Geek Squad Fort Worth by his school. They were not helpful nor could the fix his laptop. I took it to the Frisco (El Dorado) location and Amaan not only knew the issue and how to fix it, he was super helpful walking me through the issue and even FaceTimed my son to talk him through it. Thank you so much for saving the day!
I had an appointment here that I scheduled a week ago with all the details for why I’m coming in. I got a call the day before my appointment confirming they’ve the part and it will take them 2-3 hours to fix. My appointment time was at 5:40pm. I got in line at 5:38pm and found the tech helping someone. After 5 mins, I went to the counter and asked if I needed to check in. He said no and just to stay in line, which I did. About 30 mins later, I was checked in and was asked why I was there. Mind you all the notes for my appointment was already there. Anyways, I proceeded and told him, and he went back made sure they had the part which he confirmed they did. Then he came to tell me he can’t do it because he’s the only one. That’ll need to leave my phone there for u til the next day around 1:00pm. I told him I got a call yesterday confirming this is a 2-3 hour deal and that I’ve an appointment specifically for this today. He said he can’t do it because he is the only one. Then he said I don’t see anything in my system that we called. I just played the voicemail for him that they left for me. And after listening to it, his response was they didn’t put anything in the system regarding this. He offered to make another appointment and I declined because I am very dissatisfied and I wish I could say disappointed with Geek squad but I’m not. This is one of the reasons I don’t sign up for any of their services. What’s the point of requesting appointments with details for the appointment a week in advance and not preparing for that especially one that for confirmed? That’s wild! I wish I could rate them a zero. The tech at the counter has Davey as the name tag. He could use some customer service and they should have a place for people to check in especially those with appointments.
I took the laptop with only one problem, which is the charging port that needed to be fixed. When I picked up the laptop, the screen did not work anymore, and I cannot basically turn it on. It had not had those problems before. It is almost like they destroyed my laptop.
Worst customer service I have ever had. I didn't have an appoint but just wanted to make one at the counter. I was literally there for 20 mins. The associate (I didn't get his name) looked passed me twice to serve. the people behind me who didn't have appointments either. When the gentleman behind me said "he was first" the associate waved dismissively with his hand and without so much as a "sir I will be right with you". I get it, your busy and those with appointments come first. I will drive out of my way to get anything from Best Buy in the future, and I will never use Geek Squad for anything.
Terrible attitude! Did not come at date sent to my email. I had set aside half the day from work so they could install a TV . I had to go to store and beg for them to come out. Don't like doing that at all. Shouldn't have to. Manager went Karen on me and lost her temper way too easily, although she eventually got someone out at my residence. So I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
