Chris did a great job, called in advance of arrival. Inspected dryer, asked questions about other suspected issues and determined they were ok. Requested repair was made and he cleaned out the unit from lent. He went over what was done and the payment was made easy with the text message and signon by me to pay. Thanks!

Service man was polite and professional. How ever his estimate was incorrect. So, I elected by another drier. After receiving the new one I had to remove the old electrical cord to reuse on new drier. Finding the problem of a short in the connection. This is why the drier didn't work. I was charged for the estimate which did not pay. Something needs to be figured out before I pay. Please have someone to respond, NOT AI.

We just had our dryer repaired for not spinning. Now, no matter what cycle we dry on it dries at the highest temperature, even on no heat/air fluff. I have no way to reconnect with the repairman outside of making this post. If possible I’d like to have my dryer repaired to full functionality

I made a claim on my washer machine since August 2025. Now it’s November 2 my washer machine is still not repaired. Every week they are rescheduling my appointment. I had exact same experience 2 years ago with my refrigerator repair. It took them three months to get it repaired. We had no choice to buy another refrigerator due to Sears continuing rescheduling my appointment. I would never buy this repair service again. It’s worthless. I wonder what they would do when their appliances are not working.

Ron had excellent knowledge of his trade. However, the two previous techs sent out to diagnose my dryer’s problem get one star reviews. Also, Sear’s scheduling process for service using AI is terrible. When service callbacks are necessary because of misdiagnoses of earlier calls, it’s nearly impossible to schedule without being charged with unwarranted charges. And it’s nearly impossible to talk to a human agent, and should you finally get to speak with an associate, it’s practically impossible to understand the very strong Indian accent and noise of the call center they are in. My experience with Ron, GOOD, with the rest of Sears Home Service, TERRIBLE.

Ronnie came out to look at my dryer, which was kicking off early without drying the clothes completely. Ronnie looked at the exhaust coming out of the dryer, and said it expanded more than it should. He said that indicated that there was a blockage of lint in the vent. I told him I had people clean out the vent less than a week ago. He told me ‘well I only do this for a living so I know what I’m talking about’. He never turned a screw on the dryer or opened up any part of it to look at it. He left. I had a second company to come out and clean the dryer vent. So now I’ve paid for this twice and the second company got very little lint out of the dryer vent and told me that the expansion of the exhaust from the dryer to the wall was normal from his experience. I contacted Sears again because they will send someone out within 30 days for the same issue if it’s not resolved I asked for another technician not Ronnie. So who comes walking up? Ronnie. He comes in says the same thing about the exhaust. I told him the tool went all the way through the dryer vent. There’s no blockage and please open it up and look at it. He reluctantly opened up the dryer and said ‘ Well, your guy was right. The blower is stripped.’ So he figured out the charge to repair it and he gave me a quote of $574. I told him no thank you, and bought the top rated dryer on consumer reports for just $100 more. Ronnie was lazy and bordered on incompetent. I would not recommend Sears or Ronnie for anything. Please learn from my terrible experience. I paid two separate companies to clean out the vents because this professional that Ronnie says he is had no idea what he was looking at. I wish I could get my money back from Sears.

I waited a week for my first appointment to fix my AC and it was scheduled for Friday 8-1, I took the day off because of the 11 hr window supplied by Sears. received a message 7:45PM on 8-1 stating they would not be keeping the appointment, an entire day wasted. The phone number and chatbot supplied are useless to get updated info on your appointment. The options given to reschedule the call was not the next day, had to wait another week to get a convenient day to not burn another vacation day. when the tech arrived he was in a personal vehicle no logo, he looked at the AC unit and before diagnosing the issue asked if I wanted to replace the unit, that set the tone for the rest of the service call. In the end it got fixed, communication was poor and I didn't trade my $75 repair for a $7000 AC system.
