Jay at Tone Garage is the best! Responsive and fast service! He repaired my Mark Levinson 5909 headphones which had been delaminating at the headband. They look just like new and I couldn't be happier.

My warranty experience with The Tone Garage was GREAT! When I phoned to ask about how I could send Jay my receiver, he picked up the phone on the first ring and gave me clear instructions. Turnaround time was outstanding. He fixed the receiver in one day and mailed it right back to me. My total time without the receiver, including shipping time was just one week, unheard of for warranty work. I don't live in the same city as The Tone Garage, but if I did, I'd take all my business there.

I sent a Mark Levinson 5805 to Jay to replace a dead power supply. I bought the integrated used and I was very disappointed with its performance after reading reviews, especially one with my Spendor speakers. Jay turned it around in a day or two. Upon receipt and after getting it set back up, the performance was night and day. The sound was previously thin with a narrow and shallow soundstage and a real lack of bass, which required a sub to get even decent bass. After repair, I played several CDs without a sub and the sound was completely transformed. The soundstage was wider than the speakers and deep. The bass was good and went much lower. I put on Holst’s Jupiter and it sounded incredible. I added the sub back in and the system just sounded fantastic. I highly recommend Hay for your Levinson or any repairs. Dave

I recently had to have some repair work to my Mark Levinson No 585 integrated amplifier due to a fault on the unit's digital board. The equipment was from Harman Luxury division and they have 4 service centers across the country. Living in Texas the center outside Austin was perfect for me because I could drive the unit to center, which was my plan right up until the time I was informed the Texas repair center was backed up until after after the first of the year. ugh. The Service Technician at Harman's Luxury division said that the service center in California may be able to get to it sooner. So I call "The Tone Garage" in Oxnard, CA and spoke with the Service Engineer about what was going on. That Service Engineer's name is Jay Collison. I told Jay I wasn't really wild about sending an expensive piece of audio equipment across the country in a UPS truck. After about 5 minutes of give and take, He had explained to me the whole process and put me at ease. Jay was very easy to deal with, always returned my phone calls, and completed the repair of the unit and shipment quicker than originally quote. I can't recommend Jay enough. I hope nothing happens to my audio system anytime soon but if I do I know who to call.

Jay and the rest of folks at The Tone Garage went out of their way to resolve the problems with my audio equipment. Jay kept me apprised of the repair status. Once repaired they made sure that the DAC functioned as designed. Really appreciate their time and effort.

I have had an Arcam AV40 for a few years and have always noticed a hum coming form the speakers when no audio is playing. Over time, I began to notice the hum even when watching movies. It got to the point I preferred to use my TV's speakers than my Dolby Atmos system to avoid hearing the hum. When another issue came up with the Arcam, I sent it to The Tone Garage for repair, and mentioned the hum. Whatever Jay and his team did, the hum is 100% gone and the other problem is fixed too. I feel like I have a brand new system! Thanks Jay and team!! I highly recommend them.
