Bouma Bros Garage Doors

We needed a garage door spring repair done, and Bouma Bros got it done the day after we called! (It wasn’t an emergency.) After seeing many over priced companies, many comments on Reddit recommended Bouma. It was only $200 for our single spring repair! I’m so grateful for prompt and affordable service! The Torsion Spring on my garage door broke. Called Bouma Bros. They had a serviceman at my door 2 hours after I called, and the door was fixed after 15 minutes. They were professional, reasonable prices, and exceptional service. I only wish there was a 6th star on this review so I could give them that as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had a great experience with Bouma Bros. They made purchasing new garage doors simple. From a quick quote request to ease of adjusting the quote to fulfill our needs, I was impressed with the quality of service. The installation crew were courteous and met the concerns I had. I initially called a different company to come out because I was flustered after being locked out of my house (all the doors were locked) and not being able to use the garage door to get in. We ended up paying a pretty penny for what they claimed were the bare necessities. They tried to then upsell us by a very large margin saying we "needed" to get extra things done. Their needs list was around $3,300. When I told them no, they had me sign a liability waiver, which was absolutely ridiculous. Enter Bouma Bros. Dean came by and essentially told us everything the other company told us we needed was indeed ridiculous. He did a thorough inspection and gave us a quote for things that we might like to get done, but none of it was urgent and it ended up being $300 total. Thank GOD I didn't just go with that first company for everything. Anyhow, we ended up getting the work done Dean had suggested and are very happy with it. Side note: a lot of those big companies will tell you what a horrible job the previous person who installed something did. Dean did not do that, and instead pointed out things they did well even if it might not have been the way he would have done it. That, the honesty, the work, and the wealth of knowledge he clearly had would have me recommending Bouma Bros to anyone having garage door issues. We will absolutely be back if we eventually decide to get a more visually appealing door or if we need more maintenance on our current one.
