Marvin was great to work with. I called him, he came out a day or two later and scoped out the project. He emailed the proposal later that night. We hashed out a few details and came to an agreement. I made the initial payment to Marvin, used to buy the materials that have a long lead time and also to start the work for permitting the changes. The permit applications were submitted a day or two later, and then we waited ~6 weeks for Seattle City Light to come disconnect our power so Marvin and his teammate could rewire everything from the street to a new panel. Marvin was a great communicator. For example, on Thursday he predicted that our power would be restored on Friday at 1:30pm. I asked him to text me at 10:30am on Friday with an updated estimate. He texted me at 10:28am with the update. Ultimately, the bulk of the work was upgrading us from 100A service to 200A service, including: * Running new service wires from the power lines to our house. * Installing a new mast, to receive the new wires from the power lines * Installing new grounding rods, and routing them appropriately * A new meter, and outdoor panel with service disconnect * A new panel * A new car charger outlet * 2 new 120v outlets, interior and exterior

Excellent service! I had two new outlets and breakers installed for an induction range and new microwave, and they accommodated me quickly since it was urgent - I had a new oven I couldn't use. The guys were highly competent, kind, and considerate, so much so that I felt comfortable taking a nap while they were working downstairs. They kept the mess to a bare minimum, even using a cover for their drill so the dust wouldn't go everywhere. I would absolutely hire them again! UPDATE: Please know the price is $150 PER PERSON, so I was charged $300/hr. $1920 for five hours of work. They did a good job, but be aware of the expense. I didn't know.

Choosing to switch to a gas water heater on BrechTech’s recommendation was the best decision. The unit is fantastic, and the installation was handled with the utmost professionalism and care.

Highly recommend! I used Brechtech electric for our partial kitchen remodel under a very tight timeline and deadline. Phil helped with the rough in for all new electrical components and wiring and then came back for a full day of finish work a few days latter. Working with Phil was super, we had some tricky low voltage under cabinet lighting to retrofit into existing cabinets which required a bit of brainstorming and an instalation puzzle to figure out and he came up with a great solution in working with some very tight spaces for the install. Also installed all new counter recepticales and new track lighting and multiple conversions to dimable fixtures. We really only had 1 day to do all the work and while it was a long day with some snags it was a pleasure to work with Phil and his absolute professionalism and genuinely enjoyable energy to bring the project to completion under a very crunched timeline. The end result looks fantastic and the new layout is both efficient and perfect. Thank you Brechtech for making this happen under an almost impossibly short deadline without compromising at all on the finished project! Would absolutely use again anytime!

What an awesome company! My son works at Microsoft and had an urgent deadline to hit when we lost electricity. Not only did he show up after hours, but he showed me how to fix the issue myself (loose wire on a circuit that connected multiple lights and plugs) if it ever happens again. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very customer service oriented. I highly recommend them!!

Brechtech was not the lowest or highest estimate but we felt very comfortable with them. They upgrades our panel did some wiring added outside outlets I can say we are more than pleased. They were very professional did clean, good quality work. We HIGHLY recommend this company above all for honesty & quality.

However, instead of making excuses or avoiding responsibility, the company promptly obtained the necessary parts on the same day and even offered to accommodate us in a hotel. There was no need for me to persuade them or engage in uncomfortable discussions. This level of professionalism and willingness to rectify the situation exceeded my expectations. they sort of took care of everything. It felt like a premium experience In the realm of home services, I think most of us hope for a job well done, a smooth transaction, and everyone walking away content including the people you hire it' s just best for everyone. However, it's when unexpected issues arise that a company's true character is revealed (and sometimes your own), and in this case, Brechtech demonstrated integrity and commitment to their customers. I wanted to share this experience to highlight their exceptional service and the peace of mind they provide to their clients. It isn't a very likely for these issue to happen, but it 's just one of these things that does sometimes, and they made it super simple. in this day I was almost more impressed with that than the work.
