Japanese Auto Repair

Brought in my 93 year old grandma’s 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback for an A/C issue (warm air on the driver side, slightly cooler but still warm on the passenger side). Dropped the car off at 5:30 PM, and by 8:00 AM the next morning, they had already diagnosed the issue, called me with a quote, and got my approval to start the work. They replaced the faulty part and recharged the system… all by that same morning. It’s been working perfectly ever since. He did such a great job on her car that I brought in my girlfriend’s 2016 Toyota Corolla the very next day for new rotors and brake pads all around. Dropped it off at 3 PM and got a call by 5 PM that it was ready. The brakes felt phenomenal… smooth, responsive, and quiet. I didn’t even have to break them in… and they feel just perfect. Excellent work at a great price. I’m bringing in a 2012 Honda Civic next… I knew the moment I walked in and met him that I could trust him. Our family has a new mechanic now. Japanese Auto Repair has been such a blessing for us! 5 ⭐️s

I was recommended here by a friend more than 2 years ago. Mr.Quoc's trustworthiness, quality of work and prices I can say are unmatched among auto repair shops - he will do the service you ask for, if he can do it and advice on other points if you seek his advice, with simply stating facts. He values his time and that of his team as well of the customer. When you see other reviewers repeating these points, note that this is not any exaggeration. He is ready to point out if the service you are seeking is not going to be of any benefit when you'd rather save the money. A lot of good karma he is creating in the process.

I recently visited Japanese Auto Repair in Irving for a power steering fluid leak, and I’m extremely satisfied with the service. The mechanic quickly identified and fixed the issue, explaining everything clearly. The repair was done efficiently, and the price was very reasonable—much less than I expected! The shop is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are honest and professional. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and affordable car repairs.

Amazing and knowledgeable service. Had my timing belt and serpentine belt replaced for a fraction of the price of the Toyota dealer. initially had some squeaking after the replacement, but I just brought it in and he fixed it. Absolutely recommend.

Excellent service! Honest, fast, and professional. They explained everything clearly and got my car running perfectly. The work was done quickly, and my car now runs perfectly. What stood out most was their honesty no pressure to pay for things I didn’t need, just straightforward service. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, which gave me extra confidence in their work. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and would recommend Japanese Auto Repair to anyone looking for trustworthy and skilled auto service.

Outstanding Service and Expertise! Japanese Auto Repair exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with professionalism and respect. The staff is knowledgeable, honest, and clearly experienced when it comes to vehicles. They took the time to explain what my car needed without pushing unnecessary services. The repairs were done quickly and correctly, and my car has been running like new ever since. Prices are fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled auto repair shop. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else!

My family and I love this mechanic shop. They are so honest and affordable. We have been going for years, and they tell you like it is, without trying to sell you unnecessary services. As an example, today I took the car in for a road trip inspection. They inspected the vehicle right away, and then told me that no services were needed on the car. They did not charge me one penny for the road trip inspection. They will honestly tell you if work is essential for safety on your vehicle, or if it is just an optional but recommended service. What an honest place. Love this place.
