We have always wanted an "old-school authentic" masonry wall alongside our driveway -- but, there are so very few masons in the Puget Sound area anymore. We were considering concrete blocks, but we decided to look for an experienced brick mason. We were lucky to find Jerrod at Archstone Masonry to help design and implement our "dream wall". Jerrod is very patient, extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with! He also listened to our input throughout the project. Jerrod's bid was reasonable, especially considering the amount of hard work and time consuming effort required. Jerrod's crew was hard working, considerate and very skilled. Our wall was started soon after we approved the bid, and they worked though to completion with no delays nor hesitations. Jerrod is very honest and you can believe what he tells you. The craftmanship of our completed wall exceeded our expectations, and we now have something we will love for many years to come! We would certainly enjoy working with Jerrod and his crew again on future projects!

WOW! I absolutely LOVE the fireplace makeover Jerrod and his team completed for us. We wanted to compliment the MCM features of our 1960’s home, and wanted a stack bond brick chimney breast, floor to ceiling. Jerrod was communicative throughout the process. The price was reasonable, and everyone was on time, pleasant, and professional. They finished sooner than expected, were neat, and cleaned up. Best of all, the fireplace looks great! Stack bond is time-consuming and not easy to lay, and it’s hard to find masons that can do it properly, but they did it perfectly. We loved their work and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Jerrod and his crew did a fantastic job bringing our chimney back to life. It was falling apart and they made it look like new. The brick is a rare size and they were super careful to not damage any. They took great pains to protect my property and left things clean and tidy. This is the 2nd time we’ve worked with Archstone and would highly recommend them. A pleasure to work with!!

We hired Jerrod at Archstone Masonry to craft our two cultured stone fireplaces, as well as the front brick pillars and light post for our new home. His work is absolutely stunning—elegant, detailed, and built to last. He and his team are true craftsmen with an incredible eye for design and precision. Every stone was placed perfectly, and the final result has exceeded our expectations. The grout and stone colors all work so well together and look incredible in our home. Jerrod and his team were a pleasure to work with. We receive compliments constantly and couldn't be happier.

We are so pleased with our experience with Archstone Masonry. From our first phone call to Archstone, Jared was more knowledgeable than any of the other companies we had spoken to about the chimney from Seattle up to the Canadian border (we had talked to many). Archstone ended up rebuilding our chimney from the roof up, and it looks absolutely beautiful! Jared was very helpful and communicative on our choices and what to expect throughout the process, and educated us on our options to help keep the cost conservative. One of the most honest contractors we have hired in many years. They were very respectful of our roof and took great care to protect it during the process. Even with all of the mortar mixing, they kept the work area and our yard very clean. The skilled craftsmanship on the chimney was phenomenal and we have received so many compliments on it since they finished. It was so nice to have peace of mind that our chimney was being done right! They were efficient, on time, very competent, and we would definitely have them come back to do another project. 10 stars!

I worked with Archstone Masonry to have a fireplace surround installed. Archstone Masonry and Jerrod were absolutely phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Quality work, detail oriented, frequent communication and exceptional results. I first reached out to Jerrod on January 7, 2023 (a Friday evening) and almost immediately received a response back after working hours and he guided me through the entire process from material selection through installation and clean up. He had a number of other projects in queue, but was able to provide rough costs and timeline for completion based on my scope of work. The project was completed on March 21, 2023. Before the project started: Jerrod met with us once in person to review the scope of work, discuss material options, provided a proposal and provided ongoing communication about the start date. He also provided guidance for ensuring our materials arrived on time and met our expectations. There was no down payment required until the first day of work, and no pressure to sign a contract with him. 50% payment when work started, remaining upon completion. During the project: Started on time, communicated with us about decisions we needed to make and confirmed every last detail about installation. Kept the house clean by rolling up rugs on a daily basis, tenting the working area, and laying lots of material over our floor for protection. Installation was estimated for 5-6 days and took 6 days, which meant we lost our living room for 8 days total instead of just 5, but it was absolutely worth it. We couldn't be happier with the service and final product. We sourced our stone from Simply Rocks and also had a great experience there. We got the New England Ledgestone and Cambrian slab installed. Cannot say enough good things and highly recommend working with Archstone Masonry.
