Precision Garage Door

I am writing this review to report the actions of whoever was driving vehicle #6 on the morning of 10/24/25 at around 7am. From MD-100 to 95S, I witnessed them tailgate multiple cars, dangerously switch lanes constantly to get around others, and cut across 3 lanes of traffic so fast after the offramp (pictured above) to the point where they had to readjust multiple times just so not to tip over or have the ladders fall off. How your drivers presents themselves on the road makes me wonder how they treat your customers and reflect into their work you do for them. Be better.

Precision was great! Prior to our appointment, he constant communication was appreciated as well as the installation time and attention to detail. Cody, our installer was prompt, super friendly and thoughtful. We are very happy with every transaction we have had with this company.

Jay was my technician and was extremely professional and efficient. Being a complete technical novice, Jay took the time and patience to explain the problem before seeking my consent to proceed. Most importantly, there were no service charge threats if I didn't move forward with the service call. This was by far the best service repair call experience I've experienced in while. I will not hesitate to recommend Precision Garage Door to my friends and family. Great job Jay and thank you!

Original install of garage door was on 3/10/2025. The techician arrived several hours later than the schedule time of the appt time frame. Additionally, he backed in my garage frame with his truck causing damage and did not install the door correctly nor complete the weather striping work around the door. After reporting this to the company a manager came out to my home unannounced and apologized for the poor work, pointed out several errors in the installation and advised that he and the install tech would be back to correct job (mentioned that it would be a learning experience for the tech). The repair were scheduled for 4/10/25 between 8-10am for repairs to my damaged garage frame during install; completion and adjustment of garage door that was not completed during the original install and install of framing in garage windows. On 4/10/25 the technician came after 4pm to only installed the frames into the window which were poorly installed. The tech never knocked on my door or acknowledged he was there. This was the second occurance where I was given a timeframe and the technician arrived several hours pass the given time and did not complete quality work nor finish the job. Please see the attached pictures for reference. Video of original install technician backing into my garage frame and multiple images of poorly installed and incomplete garage installment. At this point I'm requesting some sort of refund for the incomplete and poor quality of work and service. I've taken off work twice now to have been this company not arrive on time nor give me any sort of notice that they were running late. Additionally I never received any official invoice or breakdown of payment and materials from the company in which I was advised would be emailed to me.

The technician, Tito, was knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. He certainly knew his job! Very friendly guy, too. We are very satisfied with his work. We appreciate the businesslike way you deal with customers. We have a detailed, computer-printed invoice with a warranty shown, however there was no separate listing of labor cost. Lots of work was done by Tito on our 25 year old garage doors (2 doors): cables, bearings, pulleys, springs, new motor, remotes, etc. We are somewhat astonished by the price: over $3700. We have a creeping suspicion that since we are seniors and live in an upscale house ($900k), that prices may have been inflated. But I'm certain you would deny this and have only a singe charge. Nevertheless, we are comforted to know that our garage doors are in good shape and will operate for years to come.

Second time using Precision and they've left a great impression each time. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. Chris C. showed up to consult us not on time, but EARLY to help us get the service we needed and on with our day (of course he called first to confirm). Chris was so nice... all smiles really, which honestly disarmed me in a frustrating situation. It didn't take long for him to make his assessment which he clearly explained to us and he gave us OPTIONS on how to proceed. Most times, people just aim to upsell with stuff you don't even really need. We made a decision and he had the tech, Jamal Crosby out here in minutes to get to work on the repairs to our garage door. Jamal was THOROUGH and super kind. The noise level was reasonable and he was done in no time. He walked me through all the upgraded equipment and got everything hooked up for us, even down to syncing the garage opener to a phone app for me. And of course the obvious... he did a GREAT job! No one likes having to get costly repairs done to their home. Especially when feeling like you got nothing out of it, but between the upgraded equipment / system, the solid work, as well as their professionalism and beaming personalities, they made it much less painful just by being amazing! ... Will definitely be my go-to spot for all things related to garage doors.

Tyler was excellent! He did an excellent job in assessing the problem, very professional in his explanations of the problem, addressing my questions, and provided a resolution to resolve the problem, He was cordial and truly an asset to your organization. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Precision Door Garage Services again or recommend your services to others. I certainly would request Tyler as he does an an amazing job in representing Precision Garage Door Services!
