OGD Overhead Garage Door

They do not deserve any stars. There should be a column that says Minor stars. I ordered my door at the end of October because my other door the chain was slipping so a guy comes out and he said oh well if we replace your whole door which my door is around 30 years old and I plan to replace it anyway if we replace your whole door then Everything will work just fine and I said are you sure about that? He said yes so I have a double car garage so I purchased the door from him paid him before he left. He said that somebody would be here by the end of the week with my new door and install it Two weeks past I hadn’t heard anything from them and then I called them and so they scheduled me for a week and a half after I call so I totally different guy comes out and he said the guy I purchased the door. From got fired, but he didn’t know why so he put up my door. It is still doesn’t work and then he says oh I don’t know anything about motors. There’s something wrong with your motors. You need to call OGD and get them to send a technician out so I called OGD and they said oh yeah sure we’ll send the guy out so a guy comes out. Oh yeah he installed the motor but the motor wouldn’t even go up or down the brand new motor and this was on a Friday and he didn’t show up until 1230 so he was in there till dark. He never could get the motor to work and then he left without telling me And then when I called and scheduled another appointment and told them what happened they sent that guy back out and he worked on the door said he had it fixed. Well I’ll go out there and the switch on the wall. It’s not even level I mean you can you push your button and it moves You know it moves from side to side like it’s not bolted down good and the next morning when I go to get my car out, the door will not raise so I’ll call them and it ended up being two days before Thanksgiving so they say well we’ll have a guy out day after tomorrow so at about 930 the next day I get a call from OGD saying due to the unexpected number of callouts, we won’t be able to get to you today so that means I have to wait until after the weekend so I go through the whole weekend without being able to use my keypad in my garage so the end of the story is my door still doesn’t work. They never show up until lunchtime and then after that on Monday, I had a scheduled appointment so I received a text saying he’ll be at my house between 10 and one at 1:15. No one was here so I called in and left a message because they don’t even answer the phone when I called anymore and then I told them nobody is here. I have to run an errand at about 10 till 2 o’clock. I get a call saying I’ve been at your house 10 minutes and nobody is answering the door well nobody’s answering the door cause I’m not there so I wish they would really just come get their door. Put my old door and motor back And give me my money back. I paid over $3000 to these people and it’s already cleared on my credit card and they’ve been paid.

Worst customer service ever. Technician did more damage to my door than it originally had. Was told(in writing) I would be getting a new door. OGD went back on their word and left me hanging for 5 months. Finally offered 30% off a new door(which I accepted due to no choice). First appointment to install was delayed and 2nd appointment was a "no show" without any communication. I’ve never been so disappointed with a company before.

They were extremely fast in setting up an appointment time that worked for me, and Charlie came out and fixed our garage door opener very quickly when it would no longer work. Will remember them in the future!

My spring broke so I called ODG to come out and fix it. When installer left the door was flush on the left side and almost an inch up on the right. I questioned the installer before he left on how it looked and he stated it was the best he could do because my floor was not level. I checked my floor today and it's perfect. It's the door thats out of level. The door will not open or close correctly off and on. I finally called two months later after I noticed the mounting bracket he installed ripped from the wall and thats why it's not operating right. I called ODG to make the corrections and they were going to charge me. DO NOT USE ODG! Installer lied and did a poor job. Company will not stand behind their service.

The technician was very professional. He explained what was wrong with my garage and showed me. He recommended installing double spring so that when one breaks, the other one will continue to function.

Jonas showed up on time. Very polite and knowledgeable. Explained what was needed. Even stayed and helped me load the app on my phone

The technician had convenient availability, great communication, and same day estimates for repairs. Had over 20 doors that needed repair/replacement estimates.
