OGD Overhead Garage Door

A very nice young man named Caleb installed new springs on our garage door today. He was very knowledgeable, respectful and professional. It’s working great now!

OGD was on time with the tools and supplies needed. The installers were very polite and explained what was going to be done and answered any questions we had. We had previously purchased doors and they installed them with only a few adjustments. The price of installation was very reasonable. Thank you OGD it was good experience.

The spring on my garage door broke on a Sunday! The website gave me an access to get in the schedule. Monday morning I got a call from OGD scheduling the service call for that day. The communication was great. Edhar came. Gave me the estimate and went to work. 30 minutes later I had a working garage door. Very happy with their service.

I called because the Genie garage door opener I installed last year was opening and closing on its own. Sometimes it would do that fully. Sometimes it was part way. I spent a week trouble shooting it. I seemed to fix it once for a couple days but then it started doing it again. Well, I got tired of messing with it and called OGD. The young man, Caleb, they sent out was very nice and professional. That said, he had only been with OGD for a few months. I asked him how long he'd been doing this. The diagnoses was the motherboard was bad on the currently installed Genie. The opener needed replacement. Okay.... how much? We'll, the price, in my opinion was rather ridiculous. However, after discussing, we were offered a military/first responders discount. We also were given a free second car remote and keypad remote for outside the garage door which is what we had with the Genie. Unfortunately, after installing the new opener, it would not sync with the keypad remote outsidethegarage door. He tried a second keypad with no luck. By this time it was about 530pm on a Friday. He offered to go back and retrieve a new opener. I asked if he would rather come back tomorrow, a Saturday, rather than spending an hour or more doing a round trip to get the different opener or if he'd rather work til 7 or 8pm on a Friday. He gratefully accepted returning in the morning. On Saturday morning he texted me to let me know he was on his way. He showed up on time, installed the new opener and had it operating with no issues in about a little over an hour. He ordered the extra car remote for us as the new one only comes with one, and promised to return with it and and get it programmed in about 2 weeks. He gave me his cell number to call with any questions or concerns. This new opener is a Lift Master and its their newest technology. It has a camera, two way voice, the ability to link it to Amazon Prime accounts so your packages can be delivered in your garage if you are worried about porch pirates. The camera can detect and differentiate between animals and humans and package deliveries. You can set the opener and camera to send you all kinds of notifications through the myQ app. You can open and close the door from anywhere through your app. The indoor garage door opener pad has motion detector to automatically turn the opener lights on when we open the door from the house into the garage. So given everything the opener provides and the service provided by Caleb, we feel it was a reasonable price after all.

The garage door froze partly open. They provided prompt service with a guide you could track on your cell phone where they were providing services and time of approximate arrival.the technician was young, knowledgeable, provided options on pricing and was very likable!

Prompt response, good communications between the company and the repair personnel. Technician was informative, honest a great ambassador for this company.

I had a defective motor causing problems and OGD took care of it right away with no charge. Edgar is an awesome representative for OGD!!
