I recently had my garage door replaced by Platinum Garage Doors, LLC, and had a great experience. Their pricing was very competitive, the quality of the work was excellent, and communication was smooth and easy throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Found Joel and his company by random luck when searching for a new garage door opener. He was able to come out the same day, and told us honestly what our options were. With the new openers, we had such a great experience we had him also custom order our new doors and had them installed. Great job, great company! Would recommend anytime!

They did a great job. At every step they were very helpful. There was always a clear explanation of our options and how much it would cost, and once we made our selections, they were able to get it done quickly with excellent communication.

We hired Joel to replace a broken commercial bay door spring. We agreed to replace both springs while we were at it. With the new springs Joel's company installed, the door would slam open towards the top and you have to pull down as your opening it. I told Joel the springs were overwound and looked like a smaller wire size as well as less of a coil count than our original springs. Joel assured me it was the best springs he could get for our doors. I just decided to deal with it. 3 weeks passed and the door became almost impossible to lift as the springs tension was wearing out. I asked Joel to at least come out and try to adjust it. After texting him repeatedly and Joel blaming us for not accommodating him to come out on a Saturday he finally got someone out after 51 days. Joel's tech that he sent out told me verbatim they were the wrong springs. After Joel had a conversion with his tech, all of a sudden the springs were not wrong. Joel's tech adjusted the springs and now the door lifts my entire weight when I try to hold it from slamming open. Joel said the door was fine in his opinion, but they could come out and install a larger drum pulley for the cable, which makes no sense as the door worked fine before the spring broke. Joel informed us he would be charging us to install the larger drum. I ended the call abruptly and Joel texted me he would come out and do it at no cost. After 2 weeks of saying we was coming out, we still have had nothing fixed. I had another company come out to quote the fix. They informed me it was the wrong springs. Their solution is to weigh the door and then get the proper springs for the door weight and size. Joel's company never did this and it makes sense now. Bottom line: tl/dr. Our door is not right and Joel refuses to fix it and/or take responsibility for his work and now I have to have another company redo it with the correct springs. I just want our door to work right.

Called on New Years Eve after my garage door spring broke and locked my car in the garage. Response was immediate and they quoted me after seeing some pictures. Came out about 3 hours later and fixed it up. The original quote was for 2 springs to be replaced but the tech tested the second one and determined it was fine. Because of this this cut down the cost accordingly without me even asking. Excellent service! Highly recommend them!

Had to add another exemplary review! The newly installed garage door was making creaky noises when we open it so we called the owner, Joel who sent his technician to make the necessary adjustments post haste. Talk about super great service!!!! I backed into my existing 27-y.o.door w/c would no longer open. After getting some estimates for repair/replacement, Joel came to explain my options and detailed the various cost options. Among the estimators, he offered the best deal to replace w/ a better door and a smart Genie opener w/ state required battery. Just a couple of days later, he had the equipment available and Santos Arriola installed in just a few hours. Remarkable!

I don’t post reviews but this company earned it. These guys were great to work with. There are not many companies out there with the willingness to be available 24/7 for their customers but I found Joel and he certainly has been available very timely to address every detail of the job and work with us. The price was fair and the work was completed as promised. Eric did our install and this guy is amazing! His attention to detail and knowledge was above and beyond. He is definitely one in a million! I’m very picky and always want to try use the best to get the job done. We love our new CHI garage doors. Give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.
