Would recommend that anyone buying a home to use Southern Indiana Home Inspections. They are very professional, organized and thorough. They check everything from top to bottom and things you would never think of. Going in and out of the home they wore booties to keep the inside of the house clean. At the end of the inspection they went over the critical things they found and answered all questions. The inspection report was sent a day later. They were very nice.

We used these gentlemen for a home inspection in Bloomington and were we very pleased with their work. They are thorough and they take the time to explain things that the normal homebuyer may not understand. I recommend them without reservation.

This company was recommended by my realtor to inspect a used home that we are purchasing. They did a very thorough job of inspecting the home, roof, crawl space, exterior, interior, mechanical systems, etc. I was present for the inspection and was impressed by the work. The next day I had an 88 page report detailing the issues found which was then used to get the items resolved with the seller. The detail in the report made that easy. Would definitely recommend them for any inspection needs!

Then we had them return to recheck areas of concern once remedied before purchase. They were quick to respond and were, meticulously thorough and professional. Did okay catching minor issues, but didn't do well imaging the major issues. They wrote up the inspection report to indicate one small area of termite damage, only providing a picture of one small spot of drywall and an inactive tube in the crawlspace. The seller claimed the damage was all repaired and the inspection report seemed in alignment with that. After purchasing, I crawled under and found there were 3 places of termite damage in the home (images I took below not included in the report), two places which needed additional work and painted over damage in the garage which was not disclosed or caught. They also didn't notice that the dishwasher was broken, so that cost us $400 right away. I would not have purchased the house if they would have included images of all the damage that was left unrepaired. Significant time and money spent on these repairs. Do NOT recommend.
