Healing with Hope and empathy

The guy they sent was rude, obnoxious, nosy, and bossed me around to do some of his job for him! I complained about him to his supervisor who was very concerned about it. And the people who I have spoken to are polite but the way they organize the inspections and reinspections has been exhausting and extremely stressful for myself and others who all have mental health and physical health challenges. They cancelled for the first inspection at the last minute and I had stayed all night to prepare for it, plus I lost wages for that morning and this morning as well ❤️‍ because I didn't know until yesterday late afternoon when the follow-up inspection would take place. And it's just for an electric outlet in my kitchen that was repaired several weeks ago. The surge protector wasn't working. It seems to that the way they schedule these inspections and reinspections would cost them money as well. For years we have been used to our whole complex being inspected building by building all in one week. Having different days for everyone over several months seems extremely inefficient and has caused us great stress and confusion. I heard yesterday that this company will be doing the inspections next year!!! I hope that they will learn from us better ways to schedule and inform us that will be less stressful, more efficient and less time consuming next year!!!

The inspector came to inspect my mother’s unit today. I took the day off because my mom spend most days getting cancer treatment in boston. The inspector was sent a message to call MY number, and she instead reached out to my mother. I went down to let her in, and she wasn’t at the door despite telling my mother she was. I got locked out, in the rain for a half hour at 930am for an inspection that was meant to be between 11 and 1pm. Coming an hour and a half early? Lying about being at the door? I circled the entire building before getting locked out in my underwear. I call them back only to be told they can’t do an inspection on a friday (my only weekday off) and they can’t push it out a month so i have time to save and take time off work unpaid, again. Ridiculous place. If any other housing authority is looking to utilize them, don’t.

You have no idea how much I worry about annual inspection. So much stress! But Morgan, the nice young lady who inspected my apartment was polite, thorough & professional! She put me at easy & did the inspection in a minimal amount of time!!! I feel so relieved!! Thank You Morgan! To Morgan's boss: Give Her A Raise Man!!!

The first female inspector we had from this company was great but the Guy who came and did our inspection this year was very rude and wouldn't mark anything I spoke to him about. Also the kitchen cabinets were marked failed the year before by the other inspector from the same company and nobody ever did anything about it, when I told the Man this year he blew me off. Many of us have have been living with rotted cabinets for over a decade. We as tenants were not happy with our inspections this year in Newburyport, MA. Public Housing.

This agency will find anything to fail your home inspection when you find something nice but will pass a home inspection when it’s raggedy to the ground literally. Then will wait til your 30 days up to finally inspect just to fail the inspection and leave single mothers/dads homeless. No human being should condone in these type of inspector/inspection behavior and If I could post this with no stars I would. Praying for peace over Mccright and associates and hope one day you all have better workers that care for low income families.

I was scheduled for inspection twice nobody called nobody came. I called call center they lied saying they had no information to call me. I looked up the Director of Business Development Kenardo Curry VERY RUDE just like reps I spoke to when I was calling to see what was going on since it was second time for inspection and nobody came or notified me he only called me back after I left a voicemail. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I have all the letters they sent about when and time NOBODY CAME BOTH TIMES. Now Mr.Curry saying someone coming but call him back if they don’t so he don’t know if anyone is coming or not when it’s pass the timeframe they gave me which was between 9am-11am it is now 2:33pm UNPROFESSIONAL had I not called I would know nothing and Mr.Curry hung up on me saying I wouldn’t let him talk when they said they had no information on me and I was explaining everything that had happened from last month and this month I did all the calling so yes I am frustrated especially when I am doing what I am suppose to do they are NOT and clearly don’t care this is second time and I have to be home according to all the letters and nobody apologizes or shows any empathy or concern about the inconvenience. This company lacks accountability because a phone call to let the tenant know of delays or cancellations would make a big difference. UPDATE: An inspector finally came at 4pm and I happen to be at home because timeframe was 9am-11am lol

These people SUCK. THEY DONT SHOW UP, I’ve gotten 5 letters saying they were coming for inspection and EACH TIME DONT SHOW. MAKING YOU MISS WORK AND ALMOST FIRED BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY. AND TO GET THREATENED THAT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR VOUCHER IF YOUR NOT HOME. ANSWER ME THIS,, It’s cool when you do it but it’s a problem if we do it. What are yall consequences????? Never the less BBB I NEED TO TALK TO YOU. YOU ALL ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AT ITS BEST AND THE NERVE TO BE RUDE. JUST BECAUSE ITS LOW INCOME DOES NOT MEAN LOW I.Q. That would be this company, not us. You get ZERO STARS. DO BETTER.
