Tim did a thorough inspection including climbing through a VERY small access to the attic where he confirmed the presence of knob and tube wiring. Much of the wiring and electrical panel were newer but the lack of ground wires in several outlets and a switch in the attic fan that tripped a breaker made him suspicious that there was likely still some older wiring. He answered all my questions about the inspection process and demonstrated the tools he was using. He explained reverse polarity when he found an outlet wired wrong. I would highly recommend Tim and CAI and will use him again if I decide to purchase another property. The scheduler at CAI got me taken care of the withon day since I had a very short window of time in my contract to ask for remedies from the seller or walk away.

Yesterday I had my first time home buyer inspection and I was very nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. Well Tim my inspection Tech was awesome he mad me comfortable right from the start, He encouraged me to walk around the property, turn on lights and water open cabinets and doors etc..He said this my property get to know it and ask questions. Did an 11-month warranty inspection with Tim. He was very friendly and through with his inspection. He let me walk the house with him and ask questions/answer as we went. He took extra care to inspect every area of concern we had from walking the house ourselves in addition to the standard inspection. After this experience, I wish we had used Tim & CAI for our pre-close inspection too.
