Zach's broad and deep experience with homes is matched only by his genuine care and kindness in explaining complex issues. I've had several clients with very specific concerns and he has always been responsive and meticulous in addressing those issues and many others that they never would have thought of. His information has given people what they needed to make a good decision to walk away, and has also given people the right context to determine what they can live with if they move forward with a purchase. He also just really knows code and building standards… When specialty contractors follow up with bids on items he identifies I've never heard anyone say that the item didn't need to be addressed... With other inspectors I've often had contractors kind of roll their eyes and say that inspectors are generalists who overreact. Zach doesn't do that. He tells you what you need to know in detail but without extraneous drama, and he correctly identifies spots and areas of concern, big and small. Truly a great investment for buyers and also for homeowners who want to keep an eye on how their home is doing over time.

My wife and I are first-time home buyers-- an objectively stressful experience. We found what amounts to our dream home, got our offer accepted, and our realtor recommended Tabor NW (specifically Zach) to perform the inspection on the home. We weren't too worried as, through the showings, the home seemed to be very well maintained. Zach stopped by the home to perform the inspection and confirmed that the home was in great condition, but as with all homes, there were maintenance, repair, and installation recommendations. We expected to read over it, have no clue what half of it meant, and then have to have the inspector and our realtor disseminate all of it. We were ab-so-lutely wrong. I would absolutely recommend Zach’s inspection services! We used his services when buying an old 1932 built home.
